The Watch

The watchmaker Thomas Earnshaw, nicknamed the "father of the modern chronometer", is a celebrated figure in horology and was awarded by the Board of Longitude in 1805 for his creations, which serve as the inspiration for this watch. This jewelry timepiece features a round case measuring 44mm in diameter and 14mm thick - dimensions that ensure optimal readability and a perfect fit on men's wrists. It is crafted in stainless steel with a black PVD coating for added elegance. At 3 o'clock, a crown allows you to set the various hands. A refined mineral crystal sits above the dial, shielding it from daily shocks and scratches. Finally, thanks to its screw-down case back, this model delivers 5 ATM water resistance, up to 50 meters deep. The case back is transparent, offering a view of the automatic movement that brings the hands to life.

The Dial

This timepiece features a dial with rounded curves and a black background. A skeleton finish takes center stage, letting you admire the rotor in action every day. Two gold-toned hands sit at the center of the dial, indicating hours and minutes. Around the dial, the hour markers are rendered in Roman numerals for an authentic touch. For added readability, three sub-dials are present: a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock indicating a second time zone, a sun counter at 6 o'clock, and a moon phase indicator at 12 o'clock - all essential references for navigation at sea. The brand incorporates these complications to reinforce the spirit of the watch. Finally, the maison signs its creation at the 3 o'clock marker.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an automatic movement that drives the hour and minute hands - as well as the sub-dial indicators - with precision over time. Thanks to its skeleton finish and transparent case back, you can admire the movement in action every day.

The Strap

This timepiece is fitted with a brown leather strap that pairs effortlessly with any outfit, from casual to dressed-up. Contrast stitching adds a refined finishing touch, complementing the strap's crocodile-embossed pattern. A black PVD pin buckle securely fastens the strap. The lug width is 22mm.

Water Resistance

With 5 atmospheres of water resistance - equivalent to 50 meters - this watch offers a solid entry into water-resistant timepieces. While it's not built for swimming, sports bathing, or diving, you can wear it in the shower without worry. That said, our team recommends keeping this timepiece dry whenever possible to protect its movement for years to come.
