British watchmaker Thomas Earnshaw expands his Longitude collection with this new model. The collection draws its full inspiration from the early navigators who sailed the seas without today's modern marine technology. Dubbed the "father of the modern chronometer", the legendary watchmaker Thomas Earnshaw was awarded by the Board of Longitude in 1805 for his navigation chronometers. This watch features a round case in stainless steel, measuring 44 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick - a perfect fit for larger men's wrists. A crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hands with ease. The dial is protected against scratches and wear by a robust mineral crystal. And of course, this navigator's watch is built for the water, with a screw-down, transparent case back ensuring water resistance down to 50 meters.
Its round champagne-colored dial sets this marine watch apart from the rest. The skeleton finishing lets you admire the automatic movement in action, bringing the hands to life. The center of the dial displays hours and minutes, while Roman numeral hour markers line the perimeter - a nod to the model's vintage spirit. Two sub-dials complete the face: a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock indicating a second time zone, and a moon phase counter at 12 o'clock. The father of the modern chronometer hand-picked these three essential indicators for sea navigation - because tracking the moon, the sun, and two time zones is the only way to never lose your way. The watchmaker signs its creation at 3 o'clock.
Through the transparent case back and skeleton finishing, you can admire the movement in full. Hours, minutes, and sub-dials all come to life via an automatic movement - fluid, precise, and reliably accurate.
Elegant and high-performing, this model also features a striking brown genuine leather strap with crocodile-embossed finishing. A pin buckle makes it easy to adjust to your wrist size. The lug width measures 22 millimeters, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.
This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It's designed to be as beautiful as it is bold - a true statement piece that holds its own against the elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch to avoid damage and potential repair costs.
