Frederique Constant

Born from a long history of watchmaking passion, Swiss manufacture Frédérique Constant was founded in 1988 by Peter C. Stas and his wife Aletta Bax. The Maison's story began with the launch of six models that were an instant success, followed by the appearance of Frédérique Constant watches at the 1995 Basel World Watch and Jewelry Show.
Quality and design originality are the driving forces behind the Maison's collections, alongside innovation in caliber development. In-house movements made their debut as early as 2001, most notably with the iconic and acclaimed Heart Beat caliber, patented by the founders.
At the forefront of innovation, the Geneva-based manufacture also gifted the watchmaking world with the first tourbillon integrating a silicon escapement wheel.
