The Watch

Humbert Droz has always pushed the craft of watchmaking to its highest expression - each collection a testament to generational excellence and refined know-how. Their latest statement piece, the HD1 «Rouille», is no exception: a beautifully restrained design where sophistication speaks quietly. Available as a limited edition of 300 pieces, its cushion-shaped case in black PVD-treated stainless steel measures 43 mm in diameter with a 13.5 mm thickness. The case is secured by 4 screws, adding a striking industrial character to the overall look. A mineral glass crystal protects the dial, while the black carbon screw-down crown at 3 o'clock handles hand-setting. The screw-down transparent caseback in stainless steel, engraved with the serial number, reveals the movement within and ensures water resistance to 10 ATM.

The Dial

The watch features a stunning two-tone blue and orange dial with a sunray finish - the kind of radiance that turns heads on any wrist. Hour markers combine baton indexes and Arabic numerals alongside a minute railroad track. The central sword-shaped and arrow-tipped hands are treated with Luminova for clear legibility even in the dark - rendered in silver for hours and minutes, and orange for the seconds hand, whose rotation is marked every 10 seconds by Arabic numerals around the dial's edge. The standout feature is the open-heart complication at 12 o'clock, offering a captivating glimpse of the movement in action. The brand name and movement type are printed just above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This stunning timepiece runs on a Swiss-made automatic movement - specifically the ETA 2824 caliber - delivering reliable, precise analog display at all times. It features 25 jewels, a 38-hour power reserve, and beats at 28,800 vph.

The Strap

This navy blue Cordura fabric strap with orange stitching is the perfect finishing touch for this exceptional timepiece - adding a charming, sporty flair. At 24 mm wide, it delivers both comfort and a secure fit thanks to its stainless steel deployant clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant timepiece. Built for life near water, it can handle anything from puddles to the pool without complaint. Shower, bath, and lap swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know this watch is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers locked during immersion.
