HD1 "Acier" Watch

The Watch

Humbert-Droz is a brand founded in 1956 that embodies watchmaking excellence. It crafts meticulous timepieces built by a passionate and experienced team. To grace men's wrists, the brand unveils the new HD1 "Acier" - a limited edition of just 200 pieces - featuring a cushion-shaped case. Crafted in 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, its surface is screwed and treated with black PVD. Measuring 43 mm in diameter and 13.50 mm thick, the dial is protected by a mineral crystal, and a crown guard on the right side conceals a black screw-down crown for setting the hours and minutes. The screw-down caseback offers a beautiful view of the movement through a transparent window and ensures a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

Particular attention has been paid to this dial. It features a silver-toned base with a sunray finish that gives it an elegant, understated, refined look. Its black graduated bezel, marked every 10 units with Arabic numerals, frames a minute railroad track in the same hue. The central circle showcases baton indices and Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock marking the hours. The open heart that defines this collection sits proudly just below 12 o'clock for added charm. Hours and minutes are indicated by two satin sword-shaped hands in black, enhanced with a Luminova treatment for around-the-clock legibility. The slender seconds hand features an arrow-tipped end and the same luminescent treatment. The brand's name is elegantly inscribed below 6 o'clock alongside the word "automatic," a nod to the movement type.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Swiss movement assembled in France - specifically the ETA 2824 caliber, boasting an oscillation frequency of 28,800 BPH and 25 jewels. It delivers precise timekeeping and reliable performance across the hour, minute, and second hands, with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The Strap

The brand pairs this timepiece with a strap in black carbon-embossed bovine leather. Sleek and versatile, it elevates any outfit with effortless elegance. With a lug width of 24 mm and a deployant clasp, note that the watch comes with a removal tool to make strap changes easy.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. We're talking about a genuinely water-resistant watch! This stylish timepiece is ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you. From puddles to the pool, it handles water exposure without complaint - shower, bath, and recreational swimming are no problem. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
