HD11 "Messidor" Watch

The Watch

Humbert-Droz stands out for its family craftsmanship rooted in the finest watchmaking tradition. The brand presents its HD11 collection - a blend of French elegance and modern watchmaking with a revolutionary spirit. This line is represented here by the "Messidor" model, whose name is inspired by "the sight of swaying wheat ears and golden harvests covering the fields from June through July". This watch is delivered in a beautifully crafted cushion case made from 316L stainless steel in a silver tone with a brushed finish. It is topped by a screw-secured bezel treated with black PVD and enhanced by a radial brushing. The overall dimensions measure 44 mm in diameter and 13.50 mm thick - proportions perfectly suited to men's wrists. Above the case middle sits a flat sapphire crystal that protects the dial from scratches and shocks. On the right side, a screwed crown stands out thanks to its large brushed crown guard. This black, textured button makes adjusting the hands and date effortlessly easy. The whole is protected by a transparent case back that offers a gorgeous view of the movement while guaranteeing 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

Clean and well-organized, this watch's dial displays a beautiful smoked, sunray blue that creates a striking contrast. Elegant in design, it is framed by a blue chapter ring marked with Arabic numerals at 10-minute intervals, accented in yellow from 0 to 15 minutes. A precisely rendered minute railroad track runs along the dial's edge, complemented by dot markers for each hour for easy reading. Arabic numerals mark the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, while the remaining markers take the form of stick indices. They are tracked by silver, brushed hands partially filled with Luminova for clear legibility in low-light conditions. These are paired with a slim yellow seconds hand featuring a white arrow tip. The ensemble is completed by a date window at 3 o'clock with a black background. Finally, the brand's name appears below 12 o'clock, with the movement indicated at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a G100 automatic movement - a caliber from the La Joux-Perret manufacture offering a 68-hour power reserve. It features 24 jewels and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). This movement provides an analog three-hand display with a date function.

The Strap

This model is completed by an attractive Cordura strap in blue, perfectly matched to the dial. Soft and comfortable, it is accented with yellow stitching for a refined aesthetic. Fitted with a stainless steel deployment clasp, it ensures a secure fit around the wrist.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - or 10 ATM - this bold timepiece is equally at home at a black-tie event and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or during a swim (even an energetic one!). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or high-pressure water jets. Remember - showers, baths, and swimming only, and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged.
