The Watch

Driven by its founder's passion for watchmaking, young Swiss brand ELKA has been crafting refined, elegant timepieces with a contemporary design and meticulous quality since its launch in 2021. From this line, we present the charming D05 timepiece. It's the refined, distinguished touch that will elevate your look with a modern, chic flair. With its minimalist design, it's built to be versatile and timeless - adapting effortlessly to any dress code - and is designed for men. Reliable, elegant, and comfortable to wear, it features a round case crafted in 316L stainless steel measuring 40.80 mm in diameter and 10.80 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug length of 46.50 mm. The case sports a brushed finish with a clean polish that adds a subtle touch of refinement. It is topped by a Chevé-Box sapphire crystal with an anti-scratch coating that shields the dial from shocks that could damage it. The crystal also features an anti-reflective treatment for enhanced visibility from every angle. Hours, minutes, and the date can be set via the crown positioned at 3 o'clock on the case. Finally, this watch is water-resistant to 30 meters thanks to its screw-down case back.

The Dial

The brand equips its watch with a stunning round dial draped in a striking green hue. It will catch every eye on your wrist thanks to its sunray finish, brought to life by brushed lines that make it truly captivating. At the center, two baton hands and a slim seconds hand in gray sweep smoothly to indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. They point to the "Swiss Made"-signed dial ring, on which twelve applied gray indexes are arranged. Doubled at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, these baton-style markers help you read the hours at a glance. Clean and refined, they give the watch a balanced, timeless look. You'll also notice a date window displaying the date in black Arabic numerals on a white background. To finish, the brand places the movement type below 12 o'clock alongside its name as a signature.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by the La Joux-Perret G100 caliber - renowned for its high performance and exceptional quality - ensuring smooth, reliable movement of the hands and date window. This automatic movement with 24 jewels delivers precise, dependable timekeeping in any situation. Swiss-made and operating at an oscillation frequency of 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, it features a stop-seconds device and provides a power reserve of 68 hours.

The Strap

This stunning watch comes paired, depending on your choice, with one of the three straps below. Each features a timeless look and distinguished charm, with a 20 mm lug width.

The first strap will elevate your everyday style with a chic, polished look. Crafted in padded suede and finished in a gorgeous cognac color, it delivers an exceptional tactile experience while delicately dressing your wrist. Comfortable and pleasant to wear for any occasion, it pairs beautifully with any outfit - secured to your wrist by a 316L stainless steel pin buckle measuring 18 mm wide.

In 316L stainless steel, the second strap adds a touch of sophisticated modernity to this watch's charm. It features a Milanese mesh with a polished finish that gives it a refined, subtle luster. Comfortable and pleasant for everyday wear, it beautifully follows the contours of your wrist, elevating both casual and dressy outfits alike. The sliding clasp makes it easy to put on and take off - no risk of losing it.

The last NATO strap showcases a beige colorway that pairs effortlessly with any outfit for a polished look. Made from nylon, it wraps your wrist with a light, comfortable feel you'll love wearing every day - a sporty yet refined addition to your style. Easy to handle, it fastens securely with a pin buckle. At 18 mm wide, it is crafted in 316L stainless steel.

Water Resistance

This watch offers a water resistance of 3 atmospheres, or 30m. That means it's built for looking great - not for water adventures! At home in society and at formal events, aquatic environments are simply not its thing. It'll handle rain, splashes, or a bit of dishwater just fine, but that's where it stops. We strongly advise against wearing it in the shower or bath - and even more so swimming or diving with it!
