The Watch

Founded in 2022 by Hakim El Kadiri, the young watch brand ELKA creates timeless, elegant, and reliable watches built to last. Comfortable to wear, it features a round case in 316L stainless steel measuring 40.80 mm in diameter, 46.50 mm in length, and 10.80 mm thick - ideal proportions for men. Its polished/brushed finish gives the watch a relaxed, contemporary edge. A Chevé-Box sapphire crystal sits over the dial, protecting it against everyday shocks and scratches, with an anti-reflective and scratch-resistant treatment for a perfectly clear read. A crown at 3 o'clock handles time and date adjustments. At the back, the screwed case back ensures a water resistance of 3 ATM.

The Dial

This timepiece is elevated by a round dial in a grey tone that contrasts beautifully with the rose-tinted time markers. Its sunray finish highlighted by brushed lines gives it a refined charm that makes the watch shimmer with a thousand highlights on your wrist. At the center, two baton hands and a slender seconds hand in rose gold indicate hours, minutes, and seconds with great precision, pointing to applied rose gold baton indices for quick and easy time reading. These indices take a double form at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock for an exquisitely symmetrical effect. The 3 o'clock index is flanked by a date window with a white background. Finally, the brand signs its creation just below 12 o'clock with its name, the movement type, and the "Swiss Made" label at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an automatic movement developed by Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret - specifically the G100 caliber, featuring 24 jewels and an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) for reliable, precise performance in any situation. This mechanism ensures smooth, accurate running of the hands and date window, displaying hours, minutes, seconds, and date with confidence. It offers a 68-hour power reserve and includes a stop-seconds function.

The Strap

Choose from four straps with a 20 mm lug width - each one lending a distinctly polished look to the watch.

The first strap is crafted in padded calfskin leather - the refined, elegant addition that elevates any outfit. Easy to pair with anything, it comes in a stunning white with a semi-gloss finish that gives the watch a fresh, clean feel. Flexible and comfortable for all-day wear, it fastens securely with an 18 mm pin buckle in 316L stainless steel.

Timeless and refined, the second strap is crafted in padded suede leather and finished in a striking cognac color that enhances the charm of the timepiece. Soft and delicate, it wraps your wrist beautifully and is a pleasure to wear. It pairs effortlessly with both smart and casual outfits and fastens easily with its pin buckle - 18 mm wide and made in 316L stainless steel.

Crafted in 316L stainless steel, the third strap features a gleaming Milanese mesh that enhances your wrist while ensuring all-day comfort. The modern, timeless choice for day or night, it shines with a polished finish for a dazzling effect once on. Its sliding clasp allows easy, flexible adjustment.

The fourth and final strap blends sporty and elegant for a look that works with any style. Of the NATO type, it is crafted in nylon and comes in a gorgeous beige that brings a breath of fresh air to your wrist. It dresses up any outfit with just the right modern touch while keeping things light and comfortable. A 316L stainless steel pin buckle holds it firmly in place.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 3 atmospheres - equivalent to 30 meters - this watch is not built for underwater adventures. You can keep it on to wash your hands or tackle light household tasks involving water, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before hopping in the shower or bath, and locking it in the hotel safe before diving into the pool or the turquoise sea at your vacation spot.
