Straight out of Switzerland, young watchmaker ELKA channels the creative spirit of its founder Hakim El Kadiri - combining modern materials, clean designs, and cutting-edge techniques to craft high-quality timepieces that are durable, high-performing, and thoroughly contemporary. Less than a year after its launch in 2021, the brand released a wide range of dazzling models in bold colors and strong styles. Part of the D Series collection, this stunning D08 timepiece is a true statement of style and personality. Inspired by the clean, classic codes of the 1960s, it commands attention and adds the perfect touch of elegance and refinement to your look. Designed to adorn men's wrists, it will be your reliable companion for every occasion. It features a round case in 316l stainless steel with a brushed finish and polished lines for a brilliant result, day or night. It measures 40.80 mm in diameter and 10.80 mm in thickness with a lug-to-lug length of 46.50 mm - proportions designed for comfortable daily wear. The case houses a crown with a knurled grip at 3 o'clock for setting the hours, minutes, and date at any time. The dial is protected by a Chevé-Box sapphire crystal with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant treatment, offering optimal protection against shocks while ensuring crystal-clear legibility from every angle. On the caseback, the screwed-in case back ensures water resistance of 3 ATM.

The Dial

This charming watch features a delicate round dial that defines its beauty. Its sunray finish showcases brushed lines that highlight the subtle elegance of its gorgeous baby blue color. The effect is beautifully contrasted by gray hour markers that harmonize with the silver tone of the case. At the center, two gray baton hands glide smoothly to indicate the hours and minutes with precision. The seconds are tracked by a slender gray seconds hand. The "Swiss Made"-signed bezel houses twelve applied gray baton indices for quick and easy time reading - each featuring a double baton at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock for a refined touch. A date window at 3 o'clock keeps you on schedule. Finally, Elka signs the dial below 12 with its name and the movement type.

The Movement

Powering this model is the G100 caliber, which drives the hands and date window with smooth precision. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), this automatic movement is crafted in Switzerland by La Joux Perret manufacture. Reliable, high-performing, and efficient in every situation, it delivers accurate display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It features 24 jewels, a stop-seconds mechanism, and a power reserve of 68 hours.

The Strap

A NATO-style strap crafted in nylon, it sports a gorgeous beige color that pairs beautifully with the watch for a dynamic yet refined style. Its pin buckle in 316l stainless steel makes it easy to put on and take off while keeping it securely in place all day.

Water Resistance

This watch offers water resistance of 3 atmospheres, or 30m. That means it's built for style, not for the water! It shines at parties and social events - aquatic adventures are not its strong suit. It can handle rain, splashes, and the occasional kitchen splash without issue, but that's where it stops. We strongly advise against wearing it in the shower or bath, and even more so swimming or diving with it!
