Founded by Henry-Louis Belmont in 1948, Besançon-based watchmaker Yema has established itself over the decades as a defining name in French watchmaking. Its most iconic creation is undoubtedly the legendary Yema Superman - the first French-made dive watch to achieve water resistance at 300 meters. Over the years, the model has continuously evolved and reinvented itself. Today, the Yema Superman returns in a 500-meter water-resistant version and is also available in a GMT variant (dual time zone display via a dedicated hand). Cases are now offered in steel/bronze (Steel Bronze) or full bronze, with dial colors that lean into a rich vintage aesthetic - think green and burgundy alongside the timeless black.
