The Watch

Since 1948, Yema has been honing its watchmaking expertise through timepieces that showcase its know-how. Over the years, this French brand has carved out a distinguished place for itself with legendary models that appeal to both men and women. Its creations are trusted companions that blend elegance and precision in everyday life as well as in land and sea adventures. After 3 years of development, Yema presents its new 3-hand Manufacture movement with a modern architecture, designed entirely in the brand's workshops in Morteau. Through its Superman collection - originally launched in 1963 - it offers this timepiece as a limited edition of 1,948 numbered pieces, revisiting the first watch of the collection with a more modern look. This stunning watch, designed in collaboration with François Sarano, a French oceanographer and founder of the marine conservation association Longitude 181, features a case crafted in gilded bronze with brushed and polished finishes. Round in shape, it is offered in two diameters so you can choose the one that best suits your wrist. The first option features a diameter of 41 mm with a thickness of 10.70 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 49.50 mm and a dial opening of 30 mm, while the second has a diameter of 39 mm, a thickness of 10.70 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm and a dial opening of 27 mm. To let you explore the ocean depths while always keeping track of time, the case is fitted with a matching professional diving bezel graduated from 0 to 60 and equipped with a Grade A Superluminova marker. Unidirectional, it is crafted in bronze with a brushed finish to enhance its appeal. The central elements are operated by the signed crown with its knurled grip and are protected by a high-quality double-dome sapphire crystal 2.20 mm in height. It offers excellent legibility and enhanced resistance to external impacts and scratches. Finally, this timepiece features a screwed case back that not only provides water resistance to 30 ATM but also reveals the movement through its transparent sapphire crystal window.

The Dial

This dial enhances the watch with its black color, lending it a more elegant character. Its aesthetic is underscored by a lacquered finish and the gilded bronze color of its indicators, which create the perfect contrast and harmonize beautifully with the overall look of the model. The perimeter of the dial is lined by a minute track and geometric indexes marking the hours. These, along with the central hands that sweep across them, are coated with a Grade A Superluminova treatment for excellent legibility even in the dark. The hours are indicated by the arrow-tipped hand, the minutes by the pointed hand, while the lollipop seconds hand takes care of the seconds. Finally, as a signature, the brand places its logo and name along with the collection name at 12 o'clock, while the opposite side mentions the water resistance, the type of movement, and the inscription "Manufacture Française".

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a French automatic movement. More precisely, it is the Caliber CMM.10 that drives the central elements with exceptional efficiency. Featuring magnetic field resistance, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and benefits from 27 jewels that minimize friction. It delivers an impressive power reserve of 70 hours.

The Strap

This watch comes with several straps that you can choose from the drop-down menu. Please note that for the 39 mm diameter, the strap measures 19 mm at the lug width, and 20 mm in width for the 41 mm diameter.

The first strap is a Tropic in FKM Viton rubber, medium size and black in color. The medium size corresponds to a length of 180 mm and will fit wrists measuring between 14 cm and 17 cm. Flexible and highly durable, it will remain comfortable on the wrist every time you wear it. Its color makes it easy to pair with a wide range of outfits. This strap fastens with an ardillon buckle in IP bronze.

The second strap is identical to the first. It is also a Tropic in black FKM Viton rubber, but this time in large size. The large size corresponds to 208 mm, making it a perfect fit for wrists measuring between 17.5 cm and 20 cm. It also fastens with an ardillon buckle in IP bronze.

Finally, the third and last strap is offered to you. It is crafted in black vintage grained calf leather. Sturdy and elegant, it pairs perfectly with the watch and completes your look beautifully. This strap fastens and secures with an IP bronze ardillon buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters.
