Perrelet

Swiss watchmaking Maison Perrelet traces its origins to Abraham-Louis Perrelet, born in 1729. A lifelong devotee of horology, he went on to become one of its greatest pioneers. In 1777, this Swiss watchmaker changed history forever by inventing a mechanism capable of running indefinitely - the automatic winding movement. His exceptional technical rigor and precision led him to create the world's first pedometer in 1780.

Maison Perrelet has always pushed the boundaries of watchmaking. In 1995, it pioneered a unique "double rotor" movement with the groundbreaking Dipteros. Drawing inspiration from that caliber, the iconic Turbine was born in 2009.

The Perrelet Turbine watch features a rotor on the dial side that transforms into a propeller spinning at an impressive rotational speed.
