Perrelet is a watchmaking house founded in 1777 by Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet, celebrated for its rich heritage and technical innovation. Perrelet earned its legendary status by inventing the self-winding movement - a revolutionary breakthrough that forever changed the watchmaking industry. That spirit of innovation lives on today in timepieces that marry artisanal craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Every creation is a masterpiece built from the finest materials, with flawless finishes that attract passionate collectors worldwide. From the Weekend collection comes this stunning open-heart watch, instantly recognizable for its elegant aesthetic. The round case is crafted in stainless steel with polished and brushed finishes, measuring 39 mm in diameter, 47 mm in length, and 9.60 mm in thickness - perfectly suited for both men's and women's wrists. A sapphire crystal crowns the case, shielding the dial from scratches and shocks. At 3 o'clock, a knurled crown provides easy access to hour and minute adjustments. This model also features a screw-down case back ensuring 5 ATM water resistance. Its mineral crystal offers a spectacular view of the movement's inner workings.
The round dial of this timepiece sports a salmon hue for effortless time reading. Its perimeter is lined with a minute track for precise timekeeping, followed by twelve baton indices marking the hours. At the center, two dauphine hands display the hours and minutes, while the seconds hand sweeps continuously. The two main hands feature a luminescent coating for excellent visibility in the dark. The brand's name is displayed at 12 o'clock, while the place of manufacture is noted near 6 o'clock.
This watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement - specifically the Perrelet caliber P-391, delivering a precise analog display. Fitted with 25 jewels, it beats at 28,800 vph and provides a power reserve of 42 hours.
This model comes with two interchangeable straps, each measuring 20 mm in width.
The first strap is crafted in stainless steel with a silver-toned finish. It features a rice grain link construction with a combination of polished and satin links for a comfortable wear. It fastens securely with a deployant clasp.
The second strap is made from calfskin leather with an alligator pattern. Comfortable to wear, it is accented with tone-on-tone stitching and secures with a pin buckle. The lug width is 18 mm.
At 5 ATM - equivalent to 50 meters - this watch takes its first confident steps into the world of water resistance. Not designed for baths, lap swimming, or diving, it can still handle a forgotten shower without complaint. That said, our experts recommend keeping this timepiece as dry as possible to preserve its movement for years to come.
