The Watch

The story of Edox began when Christian Rüefli Flury, a master watchmaker, was persuaded by his wife Pauline to launch his own watchmaking company in Biel/Bienne, a city renowned for its centuries-old horological expertise. Founded in 1884, the Swiss brand has built its reputation on timepieces celebrated for their precision and elegant design - blending watchmaking tradition with forward-thinking innovation. Every model is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and material quality, incorporating advanced technologies to deliver exceptional performance. Today, the brand presents the Chronorally Chronograph 45 Watch 38003-TINBU-GNBU. It features a round case measuring 45 mm in diameter with a thickness of 15 mm - ideal proportions for men's wrists. Carefully constructed from titanium, a material that is both robust and lightweight, the case offers outstanding durability. A polished finish gives it a captivating shine, while the right side features a grey knurled crown for easy handling. It is flanked by two pushers - one grey and one blue - that together control the various functions. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits over the dial to protect its core components from impacts. Finally, this 118 g model features an engraved caseback secured by screws, ensuring a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

This dial, inspired by racing car dashboards, ensures precise time reading every day. It is framed by a black inner bezel featuring a tachymeter scale outlined by a thin blue ring. Inside that ring, a minute track runs across a grey sunray-finished background, with Arabic numerals marking the hours at 4, 5, 7, and 8 o'clock. Three sharp hands anchored at the center sweep over them for accurate reading. The slender blue seconds hand tracks both central seconds and the chronograph seconds. It is joined by the large and short grey hands indicating minutes and hours. These two, like the hour markers, are treated with a Super-LumiNova coating for improved legibility in the dark. Together, they are accompanied by 2 sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock, marking the 1/10th-second display and 30-minute counter of the chronograph respectively. These are set within a large retrograde counter displaying the days of the week in English. Below, the water resistance is noted alongside the collection name inscribed on the outer edge of the sub-dial. Near 6 o'clock, a large date window is positioned, followed by the Swiss Made inscription. Finally, the brand places its hourglass logo and name below 12 o'clock as its signature.

The Movement

This model is powered by an in-house quartz movement - specifically the Edox caliber 38s, based on the Ronda 8020 N. Vibration-resistant, it delivers reliable precision across all functions.

The Strap

This strap is perfect for any occasion. Crafted from rubber, it's built to withstand the toughest conditions. Its textured patterns contrast beautifully against a deep black tone, making it easy to pair with your accessories. It features a lug width of 23 mm and sits effortlessly on your wrist. The pin buckle, engraved with the Edox logo, ensures a secure and comfortable fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece is just as at home at a black-tie gala as it is in the water. Wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even during an intense workout). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure water jets. Remember: showers, baths, and swimming only - and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged.
