The Watch

Edox is a watchmaking brand founded by Christian Rüefli Flury, a master watchmaker with a romantic spirit, based at the time in the heart of Switzerland, in the city of Granges. His timepieces captivate fine watchmaking enthusiasts worldwide through a seamless blend of tradition and modernity. Every watch is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and material quality - including the Chronorally Chronograph 45 38003-TINRO-CARO, designed for discerning men. This timepiece features a round case measuring 15 mm thick and 45 mm in diameter. Crafted from titanium, a material prized for its corrosion resistance, it is elegantly polished for a brilliant finish and protected by a sturdy sapphire crystal that shields the dial from impacts. At 3 o'clock, a grooved gray crown ensures a confident grip alongside two pushers - one gray and one oversized red. Together, these three controls manage the various central functions displayed on the dial. This timepiece weighs 118 g and is sealed by an engraved, screw-down caseback providing a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

This dial, inspired by racing car dashboards, ensures accurate timekeeping every day. Its black bezel features a tachymeter scale highlighted by a delicate red circle. A minute track runs along its checkered-pattern dial with Arabic numerals marking the hours at 4, 5, 7, and 8 o'clock. At the center, three hands provide precise readability. The slender red seconds hand tracks the seconds - including those of the chronograph - alongside the large minute hand and the short hour hand. Finished in gray, these hands feature a SuperLuminova treatment matching the hour markers, ensuring optimal readability whenever you need it. At 3 and 9 o'clock, two sub-dials display 1/10th of a second and 30 minutes of the chronograph function, complemented by a large retrograde counter showing the days of the week in English. The water resistance rating appears at the bottom along with the collection name, and at 6 o'clock, a large date window is integrated, followed by the Swiss Made inscription. Opposite, just below 12 o'clock, the brand's hourglass logo and name are displayed as a signature.

The Movement

At the heart of this model beats an in-house quartz movement. Swiss-made, it is the Edox caliber 38s based on the Ronda 8020 N. This mechanism delivers outstanding accuracy across all functions and provides strong resistance to vibrations.

The Strap

This black strap pairs effortlessly with any outfit. Crafted from rubber, it combines flexibility with durability. Designed to handle physical and even demanding conditions, it ensures comfortable all-day wear. It features a gray pin buckle bearing the brand's logo, giving you full control over the fit. Note that this strap has a lug width of 23 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece performs just as confidently at a gala as it does in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or the pool (yes, even for an energetic swim). That said, our watchmaking experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba or freediving, nor for use with high-pressure cleaning equipment. Remember - showers, baths, and swimming only, and keep the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
