The Watch

Davosa is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1883. One of the most iconic brands in the industry, it produces first-class timepieces with ingenious designs, meticulous details, and impressive craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from the Wright Brothers, Davosa offers a line of pilot watches - including the Newton Pilot Automatic, designed for aviation enthusiasts, explorers, and watch lovers alike. Beautifully designed and precision-engineered, this blue version watch is built around a round stainless steel case. Its satin finish exudes sophistication, enhanced by the beautiful reflections of the domed sapphire crystal. Scratch-resistant and anti-reflective, it ensures optimal dial visibility and excellent protection against everyday shocks. The case proportions are perfectly balanced for men's wrists, measuring 40 mm in diameter, 11.6 mm thick, and 49 mm in length. On the right side, a conical crown handles hour and minute adjustment. Its knurled design allows easy manipulation even with gloves on. The screw-down caseback ensures water resistance to 7 ATM and features a transparent display window for a view of the movement inside.

The Dial

The round dial on this watch is eye-catching, with refined details and a clean, minimalist aesthetic. It features a blue sunray base that delivers a polished, sophisticated glow, signed "Swiss Made". Its edge carries a minute track with luminescent squares every 5 minutes. These are paired with large Arabic numeral indices and rectangular indices at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, while 12 o'clock is marked by a triangle index. All markers are filled with SuperLuminova BGW9 for crisp legibility in the dark. This luminescent material also covers the two satin-finished diamond-shaped hour and minute hands as well as the stylized aviator at the tip of the seconds hand. The brand signature sits below 12 o'clock, while the collection name and movement type are noted above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

A Swiss automatic movement powers the analog display of this watch. It features the in-house DAV 3021 caliber which, based on the Sellita SW 200-1, delivers precise reading of hours, minutes, and seconds. It boasts 26 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve, with an oscillation frequency of 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz).

The Strap

This model will be mounted, according to your choice, on one of the following two straps, each with a 20 mm lug width.

The first strap is an elegant, timeless stainless steel bracelet composed of 5 rows of links with a carefully executed satin finish for a comfortable, pleasant fit. It fastens with a push-button deployment clasp for a secure hold throughout the day.

The second strap is crafted from cowhide leather in a rich blue tone. Its smooth surface features white hand-stitched topstitching for an attractive, refined finish. Its stainless steel pin buckle bearing the Davosa logo ensures a comfortable and secure fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 70 meters, or 7 ATM, this is a timepiece that can handle the occasional encounter with water - but doesn't love prolonged exposure. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from the H₂O molecules found in baths, pools, or the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended water contact.
