The Watch

This A1300/2 model features a stainless steel case that retains its original silver tone. At 39 mm in diameter, it sits comfortably and unobtrusively on a man's wrist. Self-winding by design, the traditional crown at 3 o'clock remains available for manual hand adjustment. True to form, Perrelet protects the dial with a sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating for optimal readability. And as the inventor of the automatic movement, the brand proudly showcases the mechanical heart of the watch through its open case back. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters.

The Dial
Clean, functional, and effortlessly effective - this dial delivers exactly what it promises. A lacquered black background radiates natural depth. At the center, two slim silver hands mark the hours and minutes with pinpoint accuracy, joined by a longer seconds hand that sweeps smoothly across the dial. Silver-toned indexes around the perimeter guide your eye: smaller ones for minutes, larger ones for hours. The two main hands stop cleanly at each index. A date window at 3 o'clock, set against a white background, lets you check today's date at a glance. The dial is signed Perrelet beneath the 12 o'clock index, with the iconic movement referenced at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
Powering this timepiece is, naturally, an automatic movement from Swiss manufacture Perrelet. The caliber P-321 is a benchmark of performance and heritage. Beating at 28,800 vph, it self-winds with every movement of your wrist. With 25 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve, it delivers precision you can count on.
