The Watch

Nivada Grenchen, founded in 1926, presents this timepiece from its Antarctic Spider collection. Featuring a polished and brushed silver stainless steel case measuring 38 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm thick, this watch will delight both men and women. The case is topped with a double-dome sapphire crystal, nearly as hard as diamond, protecting the dial from everyday shocks and scratches. Discreet yet functional, a screw-down crown at 3 o'clock gives you full control of the dial's 3 hands. Finally, the screw-down caseback ensures water resistance to 100 meters, or 10 atmospheres.

The Dial

This timepiece features an exquisite round dial. Its silver sunray background harmonizes beautifully with the rest of the watch. The name Spider comes from the Sunray finish on the dial and the cream-colored Swiss SuperLuminova that evokes a spider's web. You'll find 8 baton indexes punctuated by 8 luminescent cream-tipped markers connected by lines radiating from the dial's center. Two luminescent silver hands animate the dial, accompanied by a silver seconds hand that blends seamlessly into the overall design. At 3 o'clock, a date window replaces the hour index, while the brand's signature appears at 9 o'clock.

The Movement

At the heart of this case beats a Soprod P024 automatic self-winding movement, bringing the dial to life with precision and reliability.

The Bracelet

This model is paired with an elegant brown leather strap. This material choice ensures both comfort and ease of wear. The strap fastens to your wrist with a silver pin buckle clasp. The lug width is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With water resistance to 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece is equally at home at a black-tie gala and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even vigorous laps). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving - whether freediving or with tanks - or for use with high-pressure washers. The rule is simple: showers, baths, and swimming only - and never touch the pushers or crown while submerged.
