The Watch

The Snow Star from Swiss watchmaking brand Milus traces its origins back to a 1940s timepiece selected by U.S. Navy pilots to accompany them on their missions. Robust and precise, it was an indispensable survival tool to be kept close at all times. Today, Milus continues to honor this iconic model by carrying forward its spirit and concept. The Snow Star Ice Blue is rendered in grey and blue tones, inspired by the glaciers whose breathtaking beauty contrasts sharply with the near impossibility of surviving them without heavy gear and survival expertise. The barrel-shaped case is crafted from 904L steel, a high-quality stainless superalloy that delivers outstanding resistance to corrosion and oxidation. Thanks to its polished finish, it also offers exceptional brilliance compared to standard stainless steels. The case dimensions are elegantly proportioned, allowing excellent freedom of movement: 39mm in diameter and 9.45mm thick. It showcases a fixed round bezel in polished 904L steel, framing a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. The three hands - hours, minutes, and seconds - along with the date window are set via a medium-sized, notched crown at 3 o'clock. The caseback is screwed down and reveals through its transparent window the automatic movement with oscillating weight, decorated with the brand name "MILUS" engraved in steel.

The Dial

The ice-blue dial of the Snow Star Ice Blue captures the beauty of glaciers through a sunray finish that creates shifting shades of light to deep blue in the light. The hour indices feature faceted silver-toned reliefs at varying heights that appear to emerge from the dial, their crisp edges evoking ice crystals. The discreet minute track rings the dial's edge with fine silver markers. The two silver-toned, dauphine, beveled hands for hours and minutes are diamond-cut and rhodium-plated - rhodium being a rare metal from the platinum group, prized for its exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion. The slim silver seconds hand features a minimalist counterweight for perfect balance. The date window at 3 o'clock displays red numerals on a white background. Finally, this refined dial is signed in white by Milus and notes the name of the iconic "Snow Star" collection, the watch's Swiss manufacture, and the movement type.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Swiss automatic movement, ETA 2892A2 origin. With 21 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve, it displays hours, minutes, seconds, and date with precision.

The Straps

This model comes paired with a solid grey medium-grain bovine leather strap. Its grey color and rugged texture evoke bare, vegetation-free rocks revealed as glaciers melt. The strap features tone-on-tone topstitching for lasting shape retention. It fastens with a pin buckle in 904L steel, and the lug width measures 18mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 10 ATM (100 meters). Yes - this is a genuinely water-resistant timepiece! Its sporty design means it's ready to dive into aquatic adventures right alongside you. From puddles to the pool, this watch handles water exposure without complaint. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
