The Watch
Slow Watches is rewriting the rules of traditional watchmaking. Built around a lifestyle philosophy that embraces slowing down to appreciate what truly matters, the brand made the bold choice to equip its models with a single hand. Why? Simply because, according to its founders, knowing the seconds isn't necessary to tell time with sufficient precision. The case of this Round 09 features steel with a black PVD coating for a deep, dark finish. A crown sits at its conventional 3 o'clock position - though on this dial, it's the 18-hour marker that falls there. A mineral crystal protects the dial, while a caseback secured by 4 screws ensures water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial
All understated elegance, this model features an all-black dial where sophistication and simplicity meet in perfect harmony. The round black dial is dressed with subtle white details running along its entire perimeter - Arabic numeral hour markers circle the edge. For a truly original touch, the brand chose to display all 24 hours of the day rather than the standard 12. A minute track complements the hour markers, showing only quarter-hour intervals. Note that the start of the day is positioned at the bottom of the dial. Finally, the single central hand - the defining feature of this watch - sports a dark grey design of pure simplicity. True to the brand's philosophy: only the essentials.

Le Movement
This single-hand timepiece relies on a Swiss-made quartz movement. The team at Slow Watches was committed to using only the finest components on the market. The quartz caliber brings the dial's sole hand to life, indicating both hours and minutes.

The Strap
Committed to quality, Slow Watches pairs this Round 09 model with a superb Italian calfskin leather strap. Supple and refined, this black strap fits the wrist perfectly thanks to its elegant 20 mm lug width. A black pin buckle, matching the case, secures this timepiece in place.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant watch. Ready to join you in any aquatic adventure, from puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles splashes and swims without complaint. Shower, bath, and casual swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want to be clear: while water-resistant, this model is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment.
