French watchmaking house Pequignet combines exceptional expertise with an exceptionally sharp eye for detail. The Royale GMT Watch 9010973F CB is presented in a stunning dark blue. Its round case is crafted from 316L silver stainless steel and meticulously polished for a brilliant finish. It measures 42 millimeters in diameter and weighs 46 grams. The case lugs feature a unique, beveled design. Both the dial crystal and the caseback are high-quality sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment. The transparent caseback is secured by 6 polished-head screws. The crown is decorated with Pequignet's iconic fleur-de-lys.

The Dial

The Rue Royale Watch 9010973F COB showcases a sunray dial. Its blue hue harmonizes with the strap. The dial delivers hours, minutes, small seconds, day, date, GMT (2nd time zone), a day/night indicator, and a power reserve display via the 8 o'clock counter.

Hours and minutes are tracked by 2 silver, luminescent hands (luminova BGW9). The white minute track is punctuated by delicate silver baton and dot hour markers, carefully applied to the dial. The day and date appear in a large date window above the central hands. At the 4 o'clock counter, you'll find the GMT function (red hand) and small seconds (wire hand), while the small disc at 6 o'clock displays day or night through illustrated icons. This beautiful piece is proudly made in France - as the 6 o'clock inscription confirms - and signed by Pequignet alongside its small silver fleur-de-lys.

The Movement

This timepiece is driven by an automatic movement manufactured in-house by Pequignet - the Calibre Royal, born in the Pequignet Haute Horlogerie laboratory in Morteau, French Jura. It beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and boasts an impressive 88-hour power reserve, delivering an exceptional isochronism of 72 hours. This caliber powers the hours, minutes, date, day, second time zone (GMT), day/night indicator, and power reserve display.

The movement features bridges and mainplate with perlage, circular graining, and Côtes de Genève finishing. The rotor has a sunray finish, rhodium plating, and the Lys logo. The large balance wheel is screw-weighted with solid gold timing screws.

The Strap

The Rue Royale Watch is elevated by a strap crafted from blue technical fabric lined with rubber. The edges are topstitched in a tone-on-tone finish and the surface is very slightly domed. It fastens with a silver pin buckle for a perfect fit.

The lug width is 20 millimeters and the taper (width at the buckle) is 18 millimeters. The total strap length is 115/75, giving a size L of 19 centimeters.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres - that's 100 meters. This is a genuinely waterproof timepiece! Its easygoing character means it's ready to join you in any aquatic adventure. From puddles to the pool, this watch handles splashes, showers, baths, and recreational swimming without a complaint.
