The Watch

German watchmaker Laco, long celebrated for its craftsmanship and aviation-inspired timepieces, presents the Speyer from the Pilot Original collection. It features an anthracite grey stainless steel case with a 39-millimeter diameter and 18-millimeter thickness - dimensions specifically chosen to suit men. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for optimal legibility. A screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you control the time. Finally, thanks in part to a snap-back case, this watch is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.

The Dial

This timepiece features a round, black dial. At the center, three hands display the hours, minutes, and seconds, pointing to indices rendered as Arabic numerals alongside a minute railroad track. The first ring of Arabic numerals marks the hours, while the second tracks all 60 minutes. To ensure legibility even in low-light conditions, the indices and hands are coated with SuperLuminova C3 luminescent material.

The Movement

Powering this timepiece is a Swiss automatic movement. Beating at ETA 2824.2 caliber, it corresponds to the Laco 24 movement - delivering accurate, high-quality analog timekeeping.

The Strap

For a vintage aviator look, this model comes fitted with a stunning brown calfskin leather strap. White stitching and two buttons at each end add extra texture and relief. It fastens easily with a grey pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash, but prolonged water exposure is best avoided. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from H2O in the bath, pool, or sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no prolonged contact or immersion.
