The Watch

German watchmaker Laco invites you to discover its latest creation: the Pilot Basic Palermo 39 Watch. Specializing in watches for professional pilots, the brand crafts models that combine expert craftsmanship with sharp design. Strikingly elegant, their watches are sure to win you over. This model features a round case in matte-finish stainless steel, lending it a masculine, refined edge. Its slim proportions are perfectly suited to the male wrist - 39 mm in diameter and 11.55 mm thick. A solid sapphire crystal covers the dial, shielding it from shocks and scratches with unmatched durability. The traditional crown is positioned at 3 o'clock, allowing easy time adjustment. Finally, the transparent case back lets you admire the automatic movement inside. The screw-down back ensures water resistance to 5 ATM.

The Dial

A double-circle dial sits at the heart of this watch. Sleek and elegant, its black face pairs effortlessly with any look. Touches of orange inject energy and color into the design. A double-circle finish gives the model its distinctive aviator character. At the center of the dial, three orange hands track the hours, minutes, and seconds. They feature a Superluminova treatment for clear readability in low-light conditions. The indices around the dial share the same luminescent treatment. Two rings of Arabic numerals allow for precise time reading. At 12 o'clock, a luminescent arrow points outward - a nod to the aviation spirit of the Pilot collection.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by an automatic movement. Developed in-house, the Laco 21 movement is based on the Miyota 821A caliber, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds. With a 42-hour power reserve, it runs at an oscillation frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. For a higher-performance option, Laco also offers the Laco 31 movement, based on the Miyota 8315 caliber, with a 60-hour power reserve and 21 jewels.

The Strap

This is a calfskin leather strap that sits on either side of the case. Sleek and on-trend, its black color delivers a masculine, elegant look. Orange stitching adds a bold accent to this model. Two stainless steel rivets are fitted on the strap. A classic pin buckle makes it easy to secure and adjust. The lug width is 18 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres (50 meters), this watch is your first step into the world of water resistance. Not designed for swimming or diving, but you can comfortably wear it in the shower without worry. That said, our experts recommend keeping it dry to preserve the movement for years to come.
