The Watch

From its Multifort collection comes the M005.431.36.031.00 watch, a reflection of the Swiss brand's classic style and heritage. Its round case has an elegant, refined look. Made of stainless steel, it features a rose gold PVD coating and a lustrous polished finish. A sapphire crystal provides excellent scratch protection and a clear view of the dial. The watch measures 42 mm in diameter and 10,95 mm thick, with a weight of 97 g, proportions well suited to men's wrists. On the right side of the case, the crown sits at 3 o'clock and bears the Mido logo. Its ridged surface makes it easy to grip when adjusting the watch's functions. The case back offers a view of the movement and its decoration through a transparent window. This screw-down case back supports 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

The dial has a nostalgic feel and a clean, carefully considered elegance. Its silver-colored surface features striking striping reminiscent of Geneva stripes. A smooth chapter ring frames the dial, with a traditional minute track and black hour markers for easy reading. The three-dimensional triangular hour markers are rose gold-colored, matching the dauphine hands and slender seconds hand. The hands sweep smoothly around the dial to indicate the hours, minutes and seconds precisely. A double window displays the day and date. Positioned at 3 o'clock, its white background makes both easy to read. The brand signature sits below 12 o'clock, with the movement and collection name opposite. A discreet marking at 6 o'clock indicates where the watch was made.

The Movement

This model is powered by Mido's automatic Caliber 80 movement, designed to meet the exacting standards of watchmaking tradition. COSC chronometer certification attests to its high precision, while it offers an 80-hour power reserve. Equipped with 25 jewels, the movement drives a three-hand analog display and reliable day and date indicators.

The Strap

The watch is finished with an attractive cowhide leather strap. Its brown color is accented by white stitching, and it fastens with a pin buckle made of stainless steel with a rose gold PVD coating. Comfortable and soft to the touch, the strap measures 22 mm wide between the lugs and feels light on the wrist.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance, or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms, this striking timepiece is at home at a gala or in the water! You can wear it in the shower, in the bath or while swimming, even for vigorous laps. Our watch experts caution, however, that this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving or use with pressure washers. Remember: showering, bathing and swimming only, and do not operate the pushers or crown while in the water!
