The Watch

Since its founding in 1918, Mido has crafted timepieces celebrated for their reliability and precision, combining timeless design with refined aesthetics. One of its most iconic creations is the Multifort watch, known for its understated elegance and quality craftsmanship. The new Multifort TV Big Date M0495261708100 features a cushion-shaped case that gives the model a bolder character. Crafted in stainless steel, it measures 40 × 39.20 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11.50 mm. At a comfortable 100 grams, it sits effortlessly on the wrist. The surface is beautifully brushed, and the center is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that offers outstanding scratch protection and optimal legibility. The grooved crown is positioned at 3 o'clock - screwed-down and secured, it handles the adjustment of hours, minutes, and date. Finally, the screwed, transparent caseback offers a stunning view of the movement and ensures water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this watch is an elegant element that exudes a clean, streamlined aesthetic. Well-composed, it features a grey brushed base enhanced by a smoked effect that adds depth. Its perimeter is framed by a white minute track surrounding geometric hour markers. These are coated in a luminescent material for improved legibility in low-light conditions - a treatment also applied to the baton hands pointing to the hours and minutes, which are lightly faceted, while the seconds hand is finished in grey. At 12 o'clock, the big date window displays white numerals on a black background. Just below it, "Mido" is inscribed, followed by "Automatic." At 6 o'clock, the Swiss heritage is noted in a smaller font.

The Movement

Mido has equipped this watch with a Swiss-made automatic movement. With 25 jewels, this is the Caliber 80 based on the ETA C07.651, delivering precise analog display and efficiently driving the big date window. It offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours and features a Nivachron balance spring.

The Strap

This model comes fitted with an orange rubber strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle for a reliable fit. It measures 22 mm at the lug width and offers a comfortable, lightweight wear.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece is just as at home at a gala as it is in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even at a vigorous pace). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or high-pressure cleaning equipment.
