Mido is a Swiss watchmaking brand founded in 1918 by Georges Schaeren. It quickly made its mark in the watchmaking world by crafting timepieces with elegant, functional design. It features a case crafted in brushed and polished stainless steel with a refined, polished look. With a cushion shape, it measures 35 mm wide, 34.20 mm long, and 9.30 mm thick, weighing 113 g. It is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that shields the dial from shocks while ensuring clear everyday readability. To easily adjust the watch's functions, a protected and secured grey crown sits at 3 o'clock, featuring a knurled finish for a secure grip. Finally, this model offers a water resistance of 10 ATM, ensured by its engraved caseback secured with screws.

The Dial

This refined dial gives the timepiece a stunning look. It features a mother-of-pearl white background along with time markers for accurate reading. The rehaut displays a minute track, and the bezel is set with eight brilliant VS-SI diamonds totaling 0.0304 ct, adding a striking brilliance. These precious stones are complemented by rectangular indices at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock as hour markers. Three silver-toned hands are mounted at the center to sweep over them with precision. The long and short hands indicate the minutes and hours respectively, while the slim seconds hand tracks the elapsed seconds. A white luminescent coating is applied to both main hands and the hour indices for optimal legibility when needed. At 6 o'clock, the Swiss Made label and the brand name are printed, and at 12 o'clock, a date window adds extra functionality. To complete the dial, the brand name and movement type are inscribed below the date window as a signature.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an in-house Swiss automatic movement - the Mido caliber 72, based on the ETA A31.111, beating at a frequency of 25,200 vph. This movement delivers strong resistance to magnetic fields thanks to its nivachron hairspring and is fitted with 21 jewels to minimize friction. It provides a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.

This bracelet is designed to give you a polished look with all-day comfort. Crafted in stainless steel - a durable, long-lasting material - it features a silver tone that harmonizes beautifully with the watch. Easily interchangeable, it has a lug width of 18 mm and sits elegantly on the wrist. Its deployment clasp makes it effortless to put on and take off.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a genuinely water-resistant timepiece!
