The Watch

The unisex Aachen Blaue Stunde 39 watch, 39 mm in diameter, was designed by German watchmaker Laco in a sophisticated yet understated style. Predominantly blue and grey, the watch features a round case crafted in finely brushed grey stainless steel. It presents an analog three-hand dial (hours, minutes, seconds), protected from shocks by a solid scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Time is set via a crown-and-click crown positioned at 3 o'clock. The automatic movement can be admired through a transparent sapphire caseback. The slim, discreet fixed bezel enhances the dial's aesthetics and legibility.

The Dial

The blue dial reveals subtle light play thanks to its sunray finish. Time markers (hands, indices, railroad track, Arabic numerals) are all white and luminescent in the dark (SuperLuminova C3). At 12 o'clock, the index takes the shape of an outward-pointing arrow - a nod to the model's aviator spirit. The hour and minute hands feature a Sword shape that complements the slender luminescent Fil seconds hand, glowing along its full length. You'll also notice two rings of Arabic numerals, one for the minutes and one for the hours.

The Movement

Laco equipped its 862103 model with a Japanese automatic movement, Miyota 821A caliber. It displays hours, minutes, and seconds via three hands, with a 42-hour power reserve. Its frequency is 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The Strap

The watch case is fitted with a braided grey nylon strap - lightweight and flexible! Its smart-casual spirit will keep you comfortable every day. It fastens with a pin buckle in grey, and the lug width measures 18 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 meters). Built to impress at any occasion, its refined look doesn't come at the expense of durability. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it by the sink to preserve its shine and integrity longer. Swimming and scuba diving are not recommended, as prolonged water exposure may cause damage requiring costly repairs.
