Hawker Hunter AV-4052-05 Watch

The Watch
This new quartz chronograph comes from Avi-8, a brand whose every collection pays homage to a legendary British aircraft. This model honors the iconic Hawker Hunter, celebrated by pilots of its era for its ruggedness and performance - a spirit that lives on in the dial layout and every carefully considered detail. Unmistakably masculine with its hexagonal case, the brushed stainless steel housing is treated with black PVD coating and measures 45mm in diameter and 12mm thick. Four black screws decorate four of its angles. The right side features a knurled crown flanked by two pushers - one cyan blue, one black - linked to the chronograph. A mineral crystal protects the dial, framed by a black beveled bezel, and the screw-down caseback ensures a secure seal.

The Dial
Inside this bold case lies a sandblasted black dial brought to life with subtle cyan blue accents. Three sub-dials occupy its surface: at 3 o'clock, a 24-hour counter; at 6 o'clock, a 60-second counter; at 10 o'clock, a 10-minute counter. Hours and minutes are tracked by two skeletonized sword-shaped hands in blue, joined by a matching seconds hand. Around the dial, hour markers appear as blue baton indexes, with large Arabic numerals at 0, 1, 2, 4, and 6 o'clock only. The lower half of the dial is divided between a date window on the right and the British brand's name on the left.

The Movement
This model is powered by a Japanese-made quartz movement. Its Miyota caliber delivers hours, minutes, seconds, date, and chronograph function.

The Strap
This stylish, finely detailed watch comes with a smooth black leather strap. Each end near the lugs is accented with two blue stitched dots. A pin buckle secures the closure, and the lug width measures 22mm.

Water Resistance
This model offers 5 atmospheres of water resistance - 50m. It's built to turn heads while holding its own against the elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to keep it looking its best for longer. Swimming and diving are not recommended - doing so risks damaging the watch and incurring repair costs.
