Hawker Hunter AV-4052-02 Watch

The Watch
This new chronograph from British brand Avi-8 belongs to the stunning Hawker Hunter collection. Drawing inspiration from the world of British aviation, each collection pays tribute to an aircraft that made history. Here, the spotlight falls on the legendary Hawker Hunter fighter jet - beloved by pilots for its ruggedness and performance. The hexagonal case is crafted in black PVD-treated stainless steel and decorated with four black screws. At 45mm in diameter and 12mm thick, it's perfectly sized for a men's wrist. A protective mineral glass sits at the top, encircled by a beveled black bezel. A ridged crown finds its place at 3 o'clock, flanked by two pushers - one red, one black. The screw-back case ensures solid water resistance.

The Dial
Dressed entirely in black, this dial channels the look of an aeronautical instrument panel - both in its layout and its intricate details. Three counters are spread across its surface: a 24-hour counter with a round face set in a square frame, accented by a small red hand; a 60-second counter sharing the same round shape and color scheme; and a larger 10-minute counter marked with red numerals. The center of the dial features three hands - the hour and minute hands sport a white skeletonized body with a black neck, while the seconds hand is much slimmer, with a red body and black neck. White baton indices run along the outer edge of the dial, joined by large white Arabic numerals at 0, 1, 2, 4, and 6 o'clock. A slanted chapter ring borders the dial, complete with a railroad track for precise reading. A square date window sits between four and five o'clock.

The Movement
Powering this watch is a Japanese-made Miyota movement, delivering hours, minutes, seconds, a date display, and a retrograde 10-minute chronograph.

The Strap
This watch comes with a genuine smooth brown leather strap. Two black stitching lines run along each side of the case, near the lugs. The lug width is 22mm, and a black PVD steel pin buckle keeps it securely fastened.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 m). While it's built to be stunning and turn heads in any setting, that refined elegance doesn't compromise its durability. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and keep it in top condition longer. Swimming and scuba diving, however, are not recommended, as water pressure could damage the watch and lead to costly repairs.
