The Watch

True to the vintage appeal of chronograph watches and cutting-edge design, Briston rounds out its Clubmaster Sport Acetate collection with this stunning glacier blue 20142.SA.TS.25.NIB. Its iconic cushion case (square) in brown, crafted from tortoiseshell cellulose acetate, is - like every other case in the collection - made in Italy and hand-polished to a perfect satin finish. At 42×42 mm, it's an ideal fit for larger wrists. It's complemented by polished silver-tone 316L stainless steel on the bezel, the two chronograph pushers, the crown, and the screw-down caseback - offering excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. The analog chronograph dial is protected by a domed mineral crystal, 2.3 mm thick. Sport-ready thanks to its chronograph dial, tachymeter, and 100-meter water resistance, this watch is built for runs, swim sessions, and much more.

The Dial

Designed in a steel blue tone to match the watch strap, this dial features a sunray finish whose brilliance faithfully captures the aesthetic of vast icy expanses. It offers 3 hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, a date window (at 6 o'clock), a tachymeter, and a chronograph. The 3 "sword" and "stick" hands are silver-toned. While the stick seconds hand features a red tip, the hour and minute hands are fitted with quality SuperLuminova luminescent strips. All three sweep over the baton hour indices, rendered in silver and black relief. Around the black dial perimeter, you'll find not a minute track but a tachymeter scale - used in conjunction with the chronograph to measure the speed of moving objects or people, or your own pace. The two black chronograph sub-dials feature a cushion (square) design echoing the watch case. At 9 o'clock you'll find a "60-minute" counter and at 3 o'clock a "24-hour" counter. This bold, design-forward dial is subtly signed in white by Briston, and indicates near 6 o'clock the Clubmaster collection name and the model's water resistance.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Japanese quartz battery movement. Its Miyota OS21 caliber offers a 5-year battery life with solid accuracy of +/- 20 seconds per month. It provides hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph (60 minutes and 24 hours), and tachymeter functions.

"The Bracelet"

The Clubmaster Sport 20142.SA.TS.25.NIB is fitted with a glacier blue NATO-style strap in nylon. Interchangeable and water-resistant, its flexibility ensures a perfect fit around your wrist for added comfort during sports activities. It fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle in polished 316L stainless steel, as are the keepers. The lug width is 20 mm and the total length is 280 mm.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece is equally at home at a gala and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or during active swim sessions (yes, even the vigorous ones!). That said, our watch experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure water jets. Remember: shower, bath, and active swimming only - and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged.
