"Things must make sense" is the guiding philosophy of the iconic Oris brand. Founded in Hölstein in 1904, this Swiss manufacture continues to demonstrate the full depth of its expertise and artisanal excellence through timepieces that are powerful, robust, and elegant - meeting the very highest quality standards. In 1965, Oris launched its first dive watch, and today, nearly 60 years later, the brand revisits that iconic diver with meaningful improvements and modern touches, making it more contemporary and refined than ever. One of three new Divers Date variations, this stunning watch 01 733 7795 4051-Set commands attention with its soft lines and refined design. True to the spirit of the '60s, it's a stylish, high-performing companion ready for both land and sea. Versatile enough for any occasion and any style - from classic to bold - this timepiece is designed for the men's wrist. It features a round case with a 39 mm diameter crafted in stainless steel with polished and brushed finishes that create a beautiful contrast. The case is distinguished by its shorter lugs compared to previous models, ensuring comfortable wear in any situation. It is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that shields the dial from shocks and scratches during everyday use. A crown with notches at 3 o'clock lets you set the time and date with ease. A rotating dive bezel sits atop the case, allowing you to track elapsed time. It stands out with its more angular shape, its notched edge with a bolder structure, and its distinctive typography - all setting it apart from previous Divers models. The black ceramic insert is marked with a minute scale graduated in white using indices, Arabic numerals, and a triangle featuring a luminescent marker. This timepiece features a screwed case back providing water resistance to 20 bar, making it a true diver's watch ready for your greatest adventures.
This round dial with a semi-gloss finish displays a beautiful sand tone inspired by the industrial color palette of the 1960s, exuding timeless charm. It adds a touch of refinement and elegance to your look while delivering clear, fluid analog reading at all times. The sharp baton hands, centered on the dial, have been redesigned for a more harmonious look. Thanks to their luminescent treatment, they let you read the hours and minutes in both bright and low-light conditions. A slender Lollipop-style seconds hand, also featuring a white luminescent coating, completes the trio by marking the passing seconds. The dial perimeter is graduated with white indices forming a minute railway. This surrounds eleven luminescent hour markers in various beveled geometric shapes for quick hour recognition. A date window at 6 o'clock displays black Arabic numerals on a white background. Finally, Oris signs its name below 12 o'clock and, at the opposite end, notes the water resistance of its creation along with the collection name, adding the "Swiss Made" label just below - a hallmark of authenticity.
This watch is powered by an automatic movement renowned for its exceptional quality, high performance, and unwavering reliability. Manufactured in-house by Oris, it is specifically the Caliber 733-1, ensuring precise operation of the hands and date window in all conditions. This Swiss movement features 26 jewels and provides a 41-hour power reserve. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and equipped with a stop-seconds device, it delivers accurate, reliable display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date.
For this exceptional dive watch, Oris includes two straps so you can switch up your style whenever you like.
The first bracelet is an Oris design with a riveted look, formed by three rows of links. Its silver tone, a result of its stainless steel construction, is enhanced by a brushed/polished finish that creates a beautiful visual effect on your wrist. This bracelet pairs with any outfit and is both comfortable and easy to swap out. It features a push-button deployant clasp engraved with the brand name, making it effortless to put on and take off while keeping it securely fastened.
The second strap in black is crafted from rubber, making it the perfect choice for nautical adventures. Easily interchangeable, it sports a carbon-effect texture for a more dynamic look. Comfortable and pleasant to wear, it adds a sporty-elegant touch to any outfit. Its deployant clasp lets you put it on smoothly and securely.
This model offers water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. Ladies and gentlemen, here is a watch ready to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you - in depth! Built for freediving, this timepiece handles pressure like a pro. Rain, showers, baths, competitive swimming, and freediving are all no problem. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
