Oris is a Swiss watch brand that has been crafting authentic, durable, and high-performing timepieces since its founding in Hölstein in 1904 - each powered by in-house movements. Driven by an unwavering pursuit of excellence and individuality, the brand consistently impresses enthusiasts with its ability to create enduring pieces that strike the perfect balance between form and function. One of its most iconic watches is the Divers, a robust and precise dive model that has carried its owners into uncharted underwater territory. Today, this diving icon is reimagined in three new iterations, featuring enhanced specifications while staying true to the aesthetic codes of the 1960s - a blend of vintage spirit, boldness, and innovation. The Divers Date watch 01 733 7795 4054-Set is the ultimate choice for water sports enthusiasts and men seeking an authentic, refined timepiece that reflects their character. Wear it every day and count on the precision of its construction, its exceptional performance, and its timeless elegance for years to come. Its round case has been redesigned for a more assertive look, featuring shorter lugs than earlier Divers models and brushed and polished finishes for a contemporary feel. It measures 39 mm in diameter and is crafted in stainless steel, combining comfort and lasting durability. The dive bezel has also been reworked for a more modern aesthetic. Rotating and notched, it features a more angular shape and serves as a elapsed-time tracker via the minute scale on its black ceramic insert, detailed up to 15 minutes and paired with a luminescent triangular marker at the 12 o'clock position. A domed sapphire crystal sits over the dial, protecting it from shocks and scratches. Hours, minutes, and the date can be set via the notched crown positioned at 3 o'clock, designed for easy handling. This dive watch offers 20 ATM water resistance, secured by its screw-down caseback.
Drawing from the industrial color palette of the 1960s, Oris chose a striking black for the dial of this watch. Round with a semi-matte finish, it brings a tone of elegant restraint to the overall design while ensuring clear, easy-to-read timekeeping in any conditions. A slender Lollipop seconds hand sweeps the perimeter, tracking the seconds. It's joined by two baton-style grey hands displaying the hours and minutes, their refined profile creating a more elegant, harmonious visual effect. They point to a white minute track made up of markers that encircle eleven beveled hour indices. Available in varying geometric shapes, these indices serve as hour markers and - like the hands - feature a white luminescent coating for reliable legibility in low-light conditions. A date window with white Arabic numerals on a black background sits at 6 o'clock for added functionality. The brand name is displayed just below 12 o'clock as a signature, while the watch's water resistance and collection name are noted at 6 o'clock. For an authentic finishing touch, Oris adds the "Swiss Made" label just below.
Housed within the case, a Swiss-made automatic movement - specifically the caliber 733-1 - powers this watch, ensuring reliable timekeeping and the smooth sweep of its hands and date display. Renowned for its quality, performance, and precision, this 26-jewel movement is assembled in the Oris workshops and beats at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour). With a 41-hour power reserve, it features a stop-seconds mechanism for accurate setting of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date.
The riveted Oris bracelet that comes with this watch features three rows of links, finely crafted to wrap around your wrist with delicate precision and all-day comfort. Made in stainless steel, it is elevated by polished and brushed finishes applied with care to each link for a striking contrast. Its deployant clasp, signed by Oris and fitted with push buttons, ensures easy, secure fastening every time.
An additional strap is included with this model for more styling versatility. Crafted in rubber and finished in a deep black with a carbon-effect texture, it wraps around your wrist with a sleek, comfortable fit and pairs effortlessly with any look. It fastens with a pin buckle.
Both straps feature a quick-change system, allowing you to swap them out with ease.
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model is what you'd confidently call a dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while this timepiece is more than capable of handling showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would ultimately compromise its water resistance. For professional divers looking to push depth limits, we recommend models rated at 30 atmospheres or more. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal at all times.
