The Watch
Mido once again showcases its Swiss expertise in this sleek and captivating design. The brand's excellence, rooted since 1959, finds new expression in the existing Commander collection. The lineup grows richer with the Commander Shade M8429.3.25.11, a timepiece of extreme precision. It will appeal to watch enthusiasts drawn to vintage-inspired aesthetics. The stainless steel case features a black PVD coating and masculine proportions: a 37 mm diameter and 10.45 mm thickness. True to Mido's design philosophy, a crown sits discreetly at 3 o'clock on the polished and brushed fixed bezel. The first crown position sets the date; the second sets the time. An acrylic crystal protects all the dial's time markers. The snap-on caseback ensures water resistance to a depth of 50 meters.

The Dial
Inspired by the original 1970s design, the round dial features a captivating blue-to-black gradient with a satin finish. Two hands indicate hours and minutes, while a slender grey seconds hand sweeps across the dial. Straight-line indexes around the dial mark each hour and are treated with a luminescent coating for easy readability in any light. A rectangular date and day window at 3 o'clock rounds out the display - the day can be shown in French, English, or German. At 6 o'clock, the brand notes its origins; at 9 o'clock, it identifies the movement type; and the brand name appears just below the 12 o'clock index. The iconic collection is, of course, signed by hand under the "Commander" name.

The Movement
Mido presents this model with a Swiss-made automatic movement, manufactured by ETA C07.621. More precisely, it runs on the Mido 80.621 caliber, which accurately and robustly displays hours, minutes, seconds, and date. It delivers up to 80 hours of power reserve - twice that of a standard movement - and oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The Bracelet
The timeless Milanese mesh bracelet makes its return in stainless steel, offering unmatched comfort with a modern, sleek look. The bracelet matches the black tone of the case, giving the watch a chic and contemporary allure that elevates any daily outfit. The clasp is a clip-style buckle in the same color, and the lug width measures 23 mm.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance of 5 ATM (50 m). It's built to look stunning and turn heads - but that elegant exterior doesn't compromise its ability to handle everyday life. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it safely on the edge of the sink to preserve its finish and integrity over the long run. For swimming and diving, however, we strongly advise against wearing this watch, as water damage could lead to costly repairs.
