The Watch

U-Boat is an Italian watchmaking brand crafting timepieces since 2000, inspired by the underwater world. The U-47 Bronze from the Classico collection stands out with its large aged bronze case of 47 mm diameter and its screw-down crown positioned at 9 o'clock. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, guarding against everyday scratches. The screw-fixed case back is crafted in transparent smoked glass for a view of the movement, and features a special antique anticorrosion treatment. The watch achieves a water resistance of 100 meters, or 10 atmospheres.

The Dial

Its stunning black dial is fitted with 3 black baton hands with luminescent tips - the seconds hand being slimmer than the other two. Against the black background, the hours are marked by gilded baton indices along with two Arabic numerals at 4 and 8 o'clock; at 12 o'clock, the index is replaced by a "U", the brand's initial. At 3 o'clock, a black date window displays the current date, while at 6 o'clock above the index, the name of the movement is shown. A ruby appears beneath the hands. The brand signs its creation between the 12 o'clock index and the 3 hands.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an automatic movement of Swiss design, caliber U-47 with 26 jewels, engineered by U-Boat. A hallmark of quality and reliability, this movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Driving the three hands and date window, it offers a 44-hour power reserve, so you can take off your watch without stopping its heart.

The Bracelet

Fitted with a beautiful brown calfskin leather strap and secured by an antique-finish anticorrosion bronze pin buckle, this watch attaches to your wrist with a 22 mm lug width to suit all wrist sizes. Note that untreated bronze naturally develops a patina over time, making each watch truly unique.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in the language of watchmaking - this bold timepiece performs just as well at a black-tie gala as it does in the water! Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or even while swimming (yes, even energetic laps!). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving - freediving or tank diving - or for use with high-pressure water jets. Remember: shower, bath, and swimming only, and avoid operating the pushers or crown while in the water!
