The Watch

Discover the U-47 AS 1 from U-Boat's Classico collection. With a vintage yet bold aesthetic, its AISI 316L stainless steel case measures 47 mm in diameter with a satin finish. A standout size that men love, this watch is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment - say goodbye to scratches and glare. On the left side of the case at 9 o'clock, you'll find a screw-down crown secured by a patented protection device. The partially transparent screw-down case back delivers water resistance to 100 meters, or 10 atmospheres!

The Dial

The Classico features a deep black round dial that highlights the indices, hands, and dial inscriptions. At the center, three black baton hands with luminescent gold accents indicate hours, minutes, and seconds. The hour markers are gold baton indices, along with two Arabic numeral indices (4 and 8); the brand signs its model with a U at the 12 o'clock position, with the full brand name just below. At 3 o'clock, you'll find a discreet black date window. Above the 6 o'clock index is the inscription "U-47", designating the movement of this model.

The Movement

This exceptional timepiece houses a Swiss automatic movement with 26 jewels. Displaying hours, minutes, seconds, and date with precision and reliability, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour. The U-47 movement, signed by U-Boat, delivers a 44-hour power reserve.

The Strap

This watch comes fitted with a brown leather strap, laser-cut and hand-crafted from calfskin, treated using traditional Italian artisanal techniques to give it a natural distressed look and feel. Featuring a silver steel pin buckle clasp, the lug width measures 22 millimeters. This timepiece will suit every wrist.

Water Resistance

With water resistance to 100 meters - that's 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece holds its own whether you're at a black-tie gala or jumping in the pool. Wear it in the shower, the bath, or during an energetic swim without a second thought. That said, our expert watch team wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba or freediving, nor for use with high-pressure cleaning equipment.
