The Watch

Discover the new EFV-620 Chrono Big Face collection from Casio Edifice. Within this lineup, meet the EFV-620D-1A4VUEF, an elegant and fully functional chronograph watch. Crafted in brushed stainless steel, the case measures 50.5mm wide and 55mm long - a bold presence on any wrist, regardless of your outfit. At 11.8mm thick, the case delivers outstanding durability and robustness. A black bezel crowns the case, marked with Arabic numerals every five minutes for precise readability. On the right side of the bezel, you'll find a crown and two pushers. The ridged crown adjusts the central hands, while the two pushers control the chronograph functions, activating the various counters on the dial. The dial itself is protected by a hardened mineral crystal, shielding against everyday impacts. On the caseback, a screwed case back provides access to the battery - which powers the watch for approximately 3 years. That screwed caseback also guarantees water resistance up to 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial features a striking black base with a sunray finish across all three counters. At the center, two grey hands and a seconds hand track the hours, minutes, and seconds. The seconds hand stands out with its bold red color, matched by the hand of the counter at 6 o'clock - which measures elapsed time over 60 seconds. It is joined by a 60-minute counter and a 1/10th-second counter at 9 and 12 o'clock respectively. The "START" and "RESET" labels appear in red on the dial's inner bezel ring. Note that the 1/10th-second chronograph has a maximum measuring duration of one hour. The date window lets you read today's date at a glance. The thick white hour markers and the hour and minute hands are coated with a luminescent treatment, commonly known as Neobrite. Finally, the minute markers are connected by a white minute track. Casio signs its Edifice creation near the 3 o'clock index. The movement origin and water resistance rating are also noted on the lower portion of the dial.

Functions

Neobrite Coating: The hands and/or indices feature a fluorescent coating that continues to glow in the dark after the watch has been exposed to a light source.

Date Display: The current date is shown in a window on the dial.

Stopwatch Function - 1/10 sec - 1 hr: Elapsed time, split time, and final time are measured to the nearest 1/10th of a second, for a maximum duration of one hour.

Movement

The Chrono EFV-620D-1A4VUEF watch runs on a quartz movement. Japanese-made, this Casio-manufactured caliber delivers smooth analog display and optimal precision when using the counters.

The Bracelet

Flanking the case on both sides is a stainless steel bracelet built from three-unit link rows. Its wider-than-average links give this sportive watch an elegant edge, all finished with a brushed finish. The bracelet fastens with a deployment clasp featuring a safety lock, preventing any accidental opening during your activities.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres (100 meters) - and it means business. Whether you're jumping in a puddle or diving into the pool, this timepiece keeps up. Shower, bath, or lap swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba or free diving, and should not be used with high-pressure cleaning equipment. One more tip: avoid operating the crown or pushers while the watch is submerged.
