The Watch

Casio is proud to present its Casio Edifice watch collection, and in particular the EFV-620 Chrono Big Face models. Among them, you'll be captivated by this brushed stainless steel chronograph watch, the EFV-620D-1A2VUEF. The case boasts generous proportions: 50.5mm wide, 55mm long, and 11.8mm thick. It's topped by a stunning blue bezel with markings every five units. Bold and athletic, this case is the perfect match for men who love statement sport watches. The EFV-620 dial is protected long-term by a scratch-resistant hardened mineral crystal. A grooved crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hands to your preference, flanked by two pushers dedicated to the chronograph functions carefully selected by the brand. A screw-down caseback shields your timepiece from wear while providing access to the battery - which powers the watch for approximately 3 years. The EFV-620D-1A2VUEF offers 10 ATM water resistance - that's 100 meters deep!

The Dial

Housed within this sturdy case is a stunning round dial in a rich black hue, brought to life by a sunray finish inside the subdials. This chronograph watch features three subdials at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, indicating respectively 60-second elapsed time, 60-minute elapsed time, and 1/10th-second precision. Note that 1/10th-second chronograph timing is limited to a maximum duration of one hour. A date window at 3 o'clock keeps you up to date. The dial's center features two hands in grey and a seconds hand in a striking blue that echoes the watch's bezel. They sweep around the dial to display hours, minutes, and seconds. Time markers take the form of thick white indices connected by a white minute track. For optimal readability day and night, Casio has treated both main hands and all indices with luminescent coating - specifically, a Neobrite finish that keeps them glowing. Finally, the dial's rehaut features "START" and "RESET" labels identifying the two chronograph pushers. The Japanese brand signs its creation near the 3 o'clock index, with movement origin and water resistance noted at the bottom of the dial.

The Functions

Neobrite Coating: The hands and/or hour markers feature a fluorescent coating that keeps glowing in the dark after exposure to a light source.

Date Display: The current date is shown in a window on the dial.

Chronograph Function - 1/10 sec - 1 hr: Elapsed time, split time, and finish time are measured to a precision of one-tenth of a second, up to a maximum duration of one hour.

The Movement

This watch houses an analog quartz movement. More precisely, a caliber from Casio drives the two central hands and three subdials positioned at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock with precision and smooth motion. Japanese-made, this movement is built to last.

The Strap

The brand offers an elegant stainless steel bracelet with a brushed finish. Its three-unit wide link construction delivers outstanding durability. It fastens with a deployment clasp equipped with a safety lock - keeping your bracelet securely in place during any high-activity moment.

That said, our watchmaking experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure water jets.
