The Watch

Swiss watchmaker Rado presents a timepiece from its new Captain Cook collection, reviving the original lines of diving watches. This piece pays tribute to the legendary British navigator and explorer James Cook. The watch is housed in a stainless steel case with a round shape measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.1mm thick - an ideal size for men's wrists. A sapphire crystal sits above the dial, protecting it from daily shocks and scratches. A unidirectional bezel in black surrounds the crystal. True to dive watch tradition, this graduated bezel lets you track your immersion time. A screw-down crown at three o'clock allows you to set the hands and the date window. Finally, the screwed and engraved caseback ensures water resistance up to 30ATM.

The Dial

The round dial showcases an elegant black color. At its heart, three hands in golden yellow take center stage. The arrow-tipped hand marks the hours, while the baton hand indicates the minutes. The slender seconds hand completes the trio. All hands feature a luminescent treatment for easy readability even in the darkest conditions. Large white applied indices mark the hours around the dial's perimeter, accompanied by a minute track visible on the flange. A date window with a white background at three o'clock keeps you up to date. Rado signs its name and logo beneath the twelve o'clock index, with the watch name displayed at six o'clock.

The Movement

The stainless steel case houses a high-quality automatic analog movement. Reliable and high-performing, this Swiss-made ETA C07.611 caliber movement delivers precise timekeeping even underwater. It also offers a generous power reserve of 80 hours.

The Strap

Complementing this stunning dial, the watch features a two-tone stainless steel link bracelet whose central row is crafted with a finely worked rice grain finish. The inner links are yellow while the outer links display a grey tone. Its polished finish adds brilliance and luminosity. A deployment clasp ensures a perfect fit on your wrist.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters.
