Baume & Mercier presents the Riviera 10616 watch, which revives the bold design of its fixed dodecagonal bezel. This distinctive shape perfectly hugs a masculine wrist with its 42-millimeter diameter and 10.6-millimeter thickness. Crafted in stainless steel, the case houses a crown traditionally positioned at 3 o'clock, allowing you to easily adjust the various time settings on this magnificent dial. The dial is topped by a sapphire crystal that provides optimal protection against everyday shocks and scratches. It also benefits from a double-sided anti-reflective coating for crystal-clear legibility in any conditions. Sapphire crystal is recognized throughout the watchmaking world for its exceptional resistance to external damage. This stunning timepiece features a screwed case back ensuring water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or up to 100 meters. The Dial

Dive into the depths with this round dial in a deep, intense blue. Its skeleton finish is impossible to ignore - drawing you into a bold, elegant world. This stunning finish is also adorned with wave motifs at the center of the dial, a signature detail that celebrates the maritime universe so dear to the brand. You'll also find two dauphine hands and a seconds hand sweeping gracefully around the dial to display hours, minutes, and seconds. Time is read alongside straight indices, with the exception of the 12 and 6 o'clock indices. A date window sits in line with the 3 o'clock index for easy daily reference. A minute track also runs along the outer edge of the dial. Proud of its Swiss watchmaking heritage, the brand displays its origins on the lower portion of the dial and announces the movement powering the timepiece along with its power reserve via the inscription "Baumatic 5 days".

The Movement

This self-winding movement delivers an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, giving you precise readings of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It also houses 21 jewels. Its power reserve is 5 days.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a truly water-resistant watch. Whether you're jumping in puddles or diving into the pool, this timepiece handles it all without complaint. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem. However, our Ocarat watch experts note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suitable for diving (professional or recreational) and is sensitive to high-pressure cleaning equipment.
