The Watch

La Maison du temps is a young watchmaking brand founded in 2021. It crafts timepieces that blend elegance and refinement with functionality and quality materials - all at an accessible price point. The brand specializes in sophisticated models featuring cutting-edge movements and a bold, commanding design. The MTBeta Skeleton / BACN makes a strong first impression with its striking octagonal case. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, it measures 42 mm in diameter. The surface features a vertical brushed finish, while the beveled bezel catches the light with a constant gleam thanks to its polished finish. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hours and minutes; it is knurled and engraved with the brand's signature "M" on a satin-finished surface. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial from impacts. As for the case back, it features a transparent exhibition window that lets you admire the intricate details of the movement and its gears. This screw-down case back also contributes to the 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

Looking closely at the watch, you'll feel as though there is no dial at all - just the automatic movement laid bare before you. The skeleton finish lets you fully appreciate the beating heart of this timepiece. The open-worked design is framed by a black chapter ring accented with a minute track and Arabic numerals, making the time easy to read at a glance. Hours, minutes, and seconds are precisely indicated by two baton hands and a slender seconds hand, all in silver. The brand name sits at 12 o'clock as a signature touch.

The Movement

This model is powered by an automatic Seagull TY2908 movement. This caliber delivers a 38-hour power reserve and reliably drives all the elements of the analog display with precision.

The Strap

The bracelet of this model is crafted in 316L stainless steel with a vertical brushed finish that matches the case. It is made up of a series of links and fastens with a deployment clasp fitted with push-button releases.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. Now that's a truly water-resistant watch! With its sporty character, it's ready to dive into any aquatic adventure alongside you. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles immersion without complaint - showers, baths, and lap swimming are all well within its comfort zone. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (recreational or professional) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers clear of water during submersion.
