G-Shock GBD-800-1BER Watch

The Watch
Casio's G-Shock line presents its latest model, packed with rugged, near-limitless qualities. This timepiece combines premium materials, innovative technology, and extreme durability. Bluetooth-enabled, this watch pairs with your smartphone and unlocks a range of features. It features a resin case with the advantage of being shock-resistant, measuring 49 millimeters in diameter and 14.5 millimeters thick. The case is topped with a mineral crystal that protects the dial. Four pushers at 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock activate the various functions this timepiece has to offer. Finally, the screw-back case back ensures optimal water resistance.

The Dial
Displaying a gray color, this dial shows the time digitally. At the top of the dial, a square window displays the day in English. The center of the dial shows the time down to the second, along with the year, month, and day. The dial also displays alarm, stopwatch, and timer modes, and tracks your step count with figures shown on screen. The Bluetooth indicator lights up when a connection is established between the watch and your phone, positioned at the top right of the dial. Connected to your smartphone, this watch automatically adjusts to local time. Finally, this model also provides time readability in the darkest environments thanks to its Super Illuminator backlight.

Functions

Bluetooth® Smart:
The watch features energy-efficient Bluetooth® technology, enabling data exchange with a single button press. The Bluetooth® function wirelessly connects the watch to a smartphone, granting access to a wealth of highly practical features.

Steptracker
This model includes a step counter to help you track your physical activity.

Super Illuminator:
A single button press illuminates the dial in a vibrant blue light.

World Time Function:
The world time function displays the time across 29 time zones and major cities worldwide.

1/100 sec - 24-Hour Stopwatch:
Measures elapsed time with 1/100-second precision over a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Lap Memory 200
This memory records split times, lap times, and intermediate times with date stamps for later review. Each data block contains the following information: date, elapsed time, lap time, and intermediate times. The memory can store up to 200 data blocks of this type.

Daily Alarm
The daily alarm goes off every day at the time you set. The value shown corresponds to the number of daily alarms available.

Phone Finder
Misplaced your smartphone? Just press one of the watch's buttons and your smartphone will sound an alert.

Auto Calendar
Once programmed, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format
You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

2 Years - 1 Battery
The battery powers the watch for approx. 2 years.

The Bracelet
This model comes fitted with a resin bracelet. Black and ultra-durable, this bracelet delivers optimal comfort. It fastens effortlessly on men's wrists with a black pin buckle. Note that its lug width measures 25 millimeters.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres (200 meters), this model can comfortably be called a dive watch. That said, a word on semantics: our watchmaking experts agree that while this timepiece is more than suited for showering, bathing, sports swimming, or freediving, it is by no means designed for professional scuba diving with tanks, where the pressure would exceed its water resistance rating. For our professional diver friends, we recommend looking at models rated 30 atmospheres and above. We also recommend not operating the pushers or crown while in the water, to maintain a perfect seal!
