At 3 o'clock, the case houses an oversized knurled crown engraved with the French Air and Space Force vulture logo, lending the watch a more sophisticated character. Easy to operate even with gloves on, it lets you set the hours and minutes at any time and activate the chronograph via the two pushers flanking it. A dome-shaped Hesalite crystal, 2 mm thick, sits above the dial. On the caseback, the case back is hydraulic-press stamped and engraved with the French Air and Space Force logo - a vulture emblem - adding a clean touch of authenticity. It is screw-down, ensuring water resistance to 100 meters.

The Dial

A round Bi-Compax dial sits elegantly within the case, lending the watch a timeless, refined charm while reinforcing its sport-chic style. Its matte finish in dark blue ensures crisp, clean time reading in any situation while adding an elegant touch to your look. At the center, two "Aviation"-style hands in beige and blue sweep the dial to indicate hours and minutes - even in the dark, thanks to their Super-LumiNova 7499 C/LE coating, also applied to the ten Arabic numeral hour markers. This luminescent treatment causes all time markers to emit a bright green glow in darkness, ensuring impeccable legibility in any conditions. A slim gray central hand handles the chronograph seconds. Two subdials are raised in horizontal symmetry at 12 and 6 o'clock, each featuring a circular-grained background for a more captivating visual effect. The one with the tricolor roundel on its bezel serves as the small seconds display, while the other tallies the 60-minute chronograph counter. A tachymeter scale is graduated around the dial perimeter, allowing you to measure the speed of a moving object. This surrounds a minute railway track and a 1-20 scale, both graduated with lines and white Arabic numerals. Finally, the dial is stamped at 3 o'clock with a vulture emblem - the French Air and Space Force logo - and signed with the brand name and logo at 9 o'clock, a hallmark of authenticity.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a high-quality meca-quartz movement that ensures smooth, precise timekeeping across all functions. It is specifically the hybrid VK61 caliber, manufactured in Japan by the renowned Seiko manufacture. Hours, minutes, and seconds are driven by the quartz module, while the mechanical mechanism controls the chronograph function - delivering fluid, accurate time reading in any circumstance. This movement operates at 32,768 Hz and its battery provides up to 3 years of power.

The Strap

For this stunning watch, Yema chose a Canvas AAE strap crafted from fabric by a French manufacturer. Beautifully refined, it comes in a rich blue tone with a woven texture that adds character and a sophisticated touch. Its underside features a bovine leather lining for an exceptional wearing experience and all-day comfort. This strap gracefully follows the contours of your wrist, bringing a touch of elegance and modernity to any look, day or night. It measures 20 mm at the lug width and fastens with a pin buckle crafted in 316L stainless steel for a secure and comfortable fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in our beloved watchmaking language - this bold timepiece is equally at home at a black-tie gala or in the water. You can absolutely keep it on in the shower, the bath, or during a swim (even an energetic one!). That said, our team of watch experts is clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving - neither freediving nor with tanks - or for use with a high-pressure washer. Remember: shower, bath, and swimming only, and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged!
