The Watch

Founded in Switzerland in 1926, Nivada Grenchen is a brand celebrated for its watchmaking innovations since the 1950s. Nearly a century later, the manufacture breathes new life into one of its most iconic creations. This F77 watch is a reissue of a classic 1977 model. It features a barrel-shaped case with a 37 mm diameter, crafted in 316L stainless steel with a thickness of 12.65 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45 mm - comfortable, bold, and a natural fit on the wrist. Sleek and refined, its alternating brushed and polished finishes deliver a vintage-sport aesthetic underscored by the octagonal bezel secured by eight screws. The dial is protected by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal offering excellent scratch resistance. On the right, a grooved screw-down crown at 3 o'clock embossed with the brand logo handles hour and minute adjustment. The equally screw-down caseback delivers 10 ATM water resistance and features an engraved logo, collection name, and model specifications.

The Dial

The embodiment of sport-chic, the dial of this watch plays cleverly with contrasts of color and form. True to refined minimalism, it features a rich dark blue carbon-finish base - a hallmark of the original model. Finely faceted and luminescent, the silver baton indices are enlarged at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, encircled by a razor-thin minute track accented by semi-circles at each index. The two baton hands and slender seconds hand stay faithful to the original design. Also luminescent, they ensure easy readability in low-light conditions. Below 12 o'clock you'll find the brand logo and name, while at 6 o'clock the collection name, movement type, and "Swiss Made" label are displayed.

The Movement

The analog display is powered by the Soprod P024 automatic movement of Swiss origin. This mechanism delivers a 38-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). With 25 jewels, it ensures smooth, precise, and reliable timekeeping of hours, minutes, and seconds.

The Bracelet

Available exclusively in 316L stainless steel, this bracelet features three rows of links. Oyster-style, it measures 18.50 cm in length with a brushed finish that enhances the watch's classic, vintage look. It is 22 mm wide at the lug and comes with a deployant clasp with push buttons measuring 16 mm wide.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking speak - this boldly styled timepiece can hold its own at a black-tie gala and in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, during a bath, or while swimming (even at full sprint). One thing to keep in mind: our team of watch experts is clear that this model is not built for scuba or freediving, and should never be exposed to high-pressure washers. Simple rule: showers, baths, and swimming only - and always keep the crown and pushers dry.
