The Watch

It was in the 20th century that Casio was born in Japan, founded by the Kashio brothers. Best known for its calculators, the brand naturally extended its expertise into the world of watchmaking. With ease, it delivers outstanding practical digital watches built for a sporty, casual style - including the DW-5600UBB-1ER from its iconic G-Shock collection. This model sports an octagonal case crafted from durable resin, enhanced by a black PVD finish. Monochromatic and weighing 53 grams, it measures 48.90 mm in length, 43.80 mm in width, and 13.40 mm in thickness. It is topped by a flat scratch-resistant hardened mineral crystal held in place by a bezel inscribed with "Protection" and "G-Shock". Four pushers give you full control over all key functions. Its case back, carefully secured by screws, delivers impressive water resistance of up to 20 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this watch also features a black tone for a sharper look. Offering clear visibility of all features, it mirrors the octagonal shape of the case and displays the pusher functions around its perimeter. With its digital display, it shows a full range of functions including the alarm, digital time, date, day, month, and more. Equipped with LED lighting and the Super Illuminator function, every detail glows in style - even in the darkest environments.

Stopwatch 1/100 sec - 24 hours

Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second over a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms both the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Countdown timers - 1/1 sec - 24 hours (with auto-repeat)

For the precision-obsessed: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time - then automatically count back down from the pre-programmed duration. Time can be set in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance - a particularly handy feature for daily medication reminders or repeated training sessions.

Multiple Alarm, Hourly Time Signal

You can set a daily alarm (time only) or an alarm for a specific date and time (month, day, and hour). The number shown indicates the quantity of multiple alarms available. When the hourly time signal is enabled, the watch beeps at every hour change.

Auto Calendar

Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The Movement

The movement of this timepiece was developed in-house for maximum commitment and precision. A quartz movement of Japanese origin powers all the functions of this exceptional model. Note that this mechanism runs on a battery with a lifespan of 5 years.

The Bracelet

Exceptionally flexible, the strap on this watch sits comfortably on your wrist with ease. In black, it is made from resin for added lightness and durability, and fastens securely with a pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This model delivers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. This is a watch built to go deep with you. Designed for freediving, it handles everything from puddles to pool. You can even use high-pressure water equipment with this timepiece on your wrist without worry. Shower, bath, lap swimming, and freediving are all on the table. For scuba diving with tanks, however, our experts recommend a timepiece with a higher water-resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the mechanism's integrity.
