The Watch

Of Swiss origin, BA111OD was born in October 2019 through the vision of Thomas Baillod. This young brand crafts technically accomplished watches built to accompany you on your greatest adventures. It offers timepieces suited to every occasion, including the Chapitre 4.5 T.V.D. watch. Designed for men, its round case measures 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11 mm. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium with an anthracite gun metal DLC coating, it is exceptionally robust. Brushed and polished, it features a gray crown that defies tradition - positioned at 4 o'clock with a knurled grip for easy handling and adjustment of the hands. A domed sapphire crystal with NFC technology sits over the dial for protection against shocks. Resistant and clear, it is fitted with a double anti-reflective coating for glare-free readability. This timepiece offers 5 ATM water resistance, secured by its transparent, engraved case back held in place by screws. The open case back invites you to admire the movement's inner workings.

The Dial

This dial brings a captivating edge to the watch. In a gray tone, it reveals a stunning skeleton finish that offers an unobstructed view of the movement's oscillations. Bold in presence, it features an outer ring with a blue disc carrying the hour markers, alternating with the minute track and Arabic numerals in groups of 5 for greater minute precision. Together, these time markers are swept by two gray central hands - a long hand for minutes and a short hand for hours. Both hands and hour markers feature a Super-LumiNova treatment for optimal legibility in low light. An additional tourbillon counter at 7 o'clock tracks the small seconds. Finally, the dial displays the brand name along with the Swiss Made mention on the crystal as a signature.

The Movement

This model is equipped with an in-house tourbillon mechanical movement. Of Swiss origin, it is specifically the BA.01 caliber built in-house with a shock resistance of 5,000 G. It beats at a frequency of 21,600 alt/h, or 3 Hz, and features 19 jewels. It ensures precision across all functions and offers a magnetic resistance of 2,000 Gauss. Its power reserve stands at 105 hours.

The Strap

This charming strap adds a refined touch to any look. Crafted from Saffiano calfskin leather, it drapes elegantly around your wrist with ease. Supple yet sturdy, it delivers exceptional wearing comfort. Finished with tone-on-tone topstitching and textured patterns that add a touch of sophistication, its rich black tone pairs effortlessly with any outfit. The pin buckle makes for smooth and easy adjustments.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Designed first and foremost to turn heads, it doesn't compromise on resilience. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to keep it looking its best for longer. Swimming and diving, however, are not recommended, as water damage could lead to costly repairs.
