The Watch

Always pushing boundaries, the brand presents a re-edition of its iconic Big Crown Pointer Date - a model in continuous production since 1938. A true signature piece, it has stood the test of time and adapted to every era. Originally designed for pilots, it now carries a classic urban style perfectly suited for everyday wear. It features a round stainless steel case with a diameter of 38mm, ideal for a men's wrist. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an interior anti-reflective coating to guard against everyday dust and impacts. A screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you precisely set the hours, minutes, and date. The screw-down transparent caseback adds a refined finishing touch, offering a captivating view of the movement in action. Please note that this model is water resistant to 5 atmospheres.

The Dial

This model features an elegant round dial with a rich navy blue background. Two silver sword-shaped hands indicate the hours and minutes - and remain legible even in complete darkness thanks to SuperLuminova treatment. For a distinctive finishing touch, a red-tipped "Pointer" hand indicates the date by pointing to the day markers around the dial's outer edge. A seconds counter sits at 6 o'clock to complete your time reading. The dial features traditional Arabic numeral indexes along with a white minute railway track. The indexes also benefit from SuperLuminova treatment, keeping them visible in the dark. Finally, Oris signs the dial beneath the 12 o'clock index, with the collection name and Automatic movement designation displayed above the 6 o'clock index.

The Movement

It offers an impressive power reserve of 120 hours, smoothly driving the hour, minute, and second hands as well as the central pointer date hand.

This Pointer Date Calibre 403 model features a beautiful smooth black leather strap. Understated yet refined, it complements your wrist elegantly and transitions effortlessly from one style to the next. Comfortable to wear, it fastens with a steel pin buckle for a perfect fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. You can wear it in the shower every now and then, but to keep the movement accurate and in top condition, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from H₂O - no baths, no pool, no ocean. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact or immersion.
