Discover this watch, a new release from October 2022, offered by Alpina in several colorways. Here, we focus on the deep navy blue version - a perfect balance of elegance and sporting spirit. This cushion-shaped model is in fact a revived icon for the brand, one that drove considerable success nearly two decades ago. This stunning re-edition features a stainless steel case with a 41mm diameter (slightly downsized from the original to suit today's standards) and an 11.5mm thickness. A scratch-resistant convex sapphire crystal sits over the dial for full protection. The bezel showcases small decorative screws, and the screwed caseback offers a transparent view of the movement and its intricate gear train in motion. The crown, engraved with the brand logo, is also screwed down for enhanced water resistance and sits at 3 o'clock.
Round in shape, deep blue in color, and adorned with elegant triangular motifs in a staggered pattern, this dial masterfully blends elegance with athletic edge. Time is read simply and precisely via three central polished hands in an Alpha-inspired shape. The silver-toned hour and minute hands carry luminescent material, while the seconds hand features a bold red triangle at its inner tip for a dynamic touch. The polished applied hour markers mirror the hands in both silver tone and luminescent fill. A minute track in white sits on a slightly lighter inner bezel ring. Finally, the date window sits at 3 o'clock, the brand name occupies 12 o'clock, and "Automatic" appears at its opposite, 6 o'clock.
At the heart of this watch beats a Swiss automatic AL-525 caliber (Sellita SW 200-1 base) with 26 jewels, proudly stamped "Swiss Made". It delivers a 38-hour power reserve and runs at 28,800 vph, offering hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions.
Completing this elegantly sporty timepiece - where two worlds collide in perfect harmony, as only the Swiss watchmakers at Alpina know how - is a deep blue rubber strap that perfectly echoes the dial's color. Thick and robust, it's custom-fitted to the watch and fastens with an Alpina-stamped simple deployant clasp. The strap measures 115mm + 75mm (long and short sections).
With water resistance of 200 meters, or 20 ATM, this watch is built for shallow-water diving. It handles showers, baths, ocean swims, and recreational freediving without a second thought. For professional scuba diving, our Ocarat watch team has handpicked 30 ATM models available in the catalog - just search a little further on the site. One final reminder before we let you go: keep the pushers and crown untouched during any water activity.
