The Watch

German-born brand Sinn quickly made its mark in watchmaking. Specializing in pilot and dive watches, it engineers models built for precision in any circumstance. Today, it presents the 356 Flieger Classique AS E watch, awarded the "Excellent Product Design 2024" prize at the German Design Award. A reimagining of the original model, it introduces several improvements including the Biocompax layout for its sub-dials. The case is round, crafted in stainless steel with a brilliant micro-blasted finish. Robust and precise, it measures 38.50 mm in diameter and 15.60 mm in thickness, weighing 71 g. At three o'clock, a gray, screwed-down, protected, and grooved crown ensures easy handling, flanked by two pushers that together control the dial's functions. The dial is protected by a domed acrylic crystal to shield against potential shocks. This timepiece is secured by a screwed case back providing 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This refined dial adds an elegant touch to the watch. Round in shape, it features a smoked anthracite background with a beautiful satin finish that gives it a sandblasted look. At its center, three gray hands indicate the time with precision. These sword-style hands are delicately rhodium-plated and pearled for an even more captivating effect. They include a slender seconds hand for the chronograph, a long minute hand, and a short hour hand. You'll notice they feature a beige coating that is also applied to the Arabic hour numerals arranged in a circle. This treatment is luminescent, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The hands also sweep along the minute track at the edge of the dial. For added functionality, two sub-dials are positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock, indicating 30 minutes and small seconds respectively. At the bottom, the country of manufacture is noted, while the collection name sits just above 6 o'clock. The brand's name is signed in white letters below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement - specifically the Sellita SW510 caliber, featuring a stop-seconds device that drives the hands with precision. Resistant to magnetic fields, this movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and features 27 jewels to minimize friction. It delivers a power reserve of 56 hours.

The Strap

This model comes with a choice of three straps, selectable via the dropdown menu. Each features a 20 mm lug width and fastens with a gray pin buckle for easy adjustment.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a truly water-resistant timepiece! Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without missing a beat. Showering, bathing, and lap swimming - no problem at all. However, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that, while water-resistant, this model is not suitable for diving (professional or recreational) and is sensitive to high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during submersion.
