In the 1950s, Swiss brand Squale made its name crafting high-performance dive watches. The brand went on to expand its expertise with a new model purpose-built for deep-sea diving, earning the admiration of underwater diving enthusiasts worldwide. The 1521COSCL.SQ20B watch presented here is part of the 1521 collection, designed for dive lovers. Built from solid, durable materials, it features a 316L stainless steel case that ensures longevity and elegance thanks to its brushed top surface and polished flanks. With a diameter of 42 mm, a thickness of 12.50 mm, and a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm, this watch brings a touch of sophistication to any men's wrist. It is fitted with a flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating that shields the dial from scratches and shocks. It is encircled by a rotating bezel with a knurled design featuring a black aluminum insert marked with a luminescent minute scale. Finally, a screw-down crown at 4 o'clock allows easy adjustment of the main settings. The screw-down case back guarantees water resistance to 500 meters.

The Dial

A black dial ensures crisp, clear timekeeping at a glance. It features a minute track around the perimeter and is fitted with baton indices along with an inverted triangular index at 12 o'clock for reading the hours. The time markers and the hour, minute, and second hands are all coated with Superluminova C3 treatment for perfect legibility in the dark and underwater. A date window at 3 o'clock adds further functionality. Finally, the brand places its logo and name at 12 o'clock and displays model-specific information at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a reliable and robust automatic movement. Swiss-made and COSC-certified, it features the Sellita SW 200-1 caliber, elaborately finished and adorned with 26 jewels. It drives the hands and the date window with precision for approximately 38 hours and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

The Strap

This watch comes with two straps so you can choose the style that suits you best.

The first is crafted from stainless steel and features brushed links in gray that give it a captivating look. It's both lightweight and sturdy, ensuring exceptional wearing comfort. This model offers a water resistance of 50 atmospheres, or 500 meters.
