Founded in 1970, HGP became a leading dive shop in the heart of Paris. For 20 years, the brand crafted custom diving watches that married solid engineering with refined aesthetics - built for sport, designed for everyday wear. In the Diver collection, this stunning vintage automatic watch is sure to captivate diving enthusiasts. It features a Monnin® case crafted from 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 47 mm in length, and 13.20 mm in thickness - a perfect fit for men's wrists. It features a notched bezel with 120 clicks graduated with a countdown scale. Unidirectional, it sports a black anodized aluminum insert with Superluminova Old Radium markers. The case is topped with a flat sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating - scratch- and shock-resistant for enhanced visibility. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hands with ease. Finally, a screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 20 ATM, or 200 meters.
With its minimalist design, the dial features a black background for a sleek, elegant look. A minute track runs along the perimeter for smooth timekeeping. The hour indices and three hands are coated with Superluminova Old Radium, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The hands also sweep past red Arabic numerals to indicate hours and minutes, while the seconds hand tracks the seconds. Finally, H.G.P. signs its creation at 12 o'clock with its name.
This model is powered by an automatic movement of Japanese origin - specifically the Seiko NH38 caliber, featuring 24 jewels, reliably driving the hours, minutes, and seconds. The movement includes a stop-second device and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours, oscillating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
This watch comes with two straps to choose from, based on your personal style:
The first strap is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a rice grain link finish. Its silver tone pairs effortlessly with a wide range of outfits. It features machine-milled and hand-brushed links, with a length of 21 cm, fitting wrists up to 24.50 cm. The bracelet is 16 mm wide at the clasp, while the deployant buckle measures 17.50 mm wide and 35 mm long.
The second strap is made of black rubber. Its design features large perforations and closes with a 16 mm pin buckle. It measures 195 mm in length and comes with three keepers - two narrow ones at 6 mm and one wide at 12 mm.
Note that the lug width of both straps is 20 mm.
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this watch confidently earns the title of true diver's watch. Watchmaking experts agree it handles daily showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease. It is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would eventually overcome its seals. For professional divers pushing serious depth records, we recommend exploring models rated at 30 atmospheres or above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to keep the water resistance fully intact!
